2 years agoTalk to me preach preach preach they been doing this for years preach and the same religion in the pockets of the government to reap off Africa and its resources…There is an aljazerra documentary on youtube portraying how white evangelist are stealing african gold they in cohorts with the government… Africans are bind in religious slavery..Until africans emancipate and destroy religious enslavement they will forever be in the dooldrooms,for our ancestors gave us the greatest gift of spirituality to free our soul and mind yet many are enslaved with the shackles of white evangelical religion

2 years agoWhy are we stopping far from learning by whom, how when and why the bible was actually written the same is to be said of all the foreign religions introduced in Africa! We would learn a thing or two about their actual relevance or lack of for the renaissance of Africa. So we hate all about colonization and want to be free of its chains except in the matter of our spirituality?

2 years agoOf interest, this issue come into focus because, I too, of recent, have been questioning the impact this very concerning issue of the eurocentric African worldview on the minds Africans universally.
Although African ethno-religiousity has shaped world consciousness of all cultures as we know it today without much of us realising this fact. African astro-religiousity developed along the Horn of Africa that influenced the main religions known to us today transmitted through what is being called Greeco-Roman philosophy whether it be Judaism, Christianity or Islam. In all reality, the impact of christianity as expressed modern terms does seem to bear a negative outlook for continental as well as diasporic Africans alike.
In light of recent developments in West Africa, unless Africans unequivocally and unreservedly reclaim not only its Mineral Resources but also Cultural Treasures, Peoples, from all around the global, then and only then will the negative rebranding of afrocentrism change for all!

Please people are also using Islam and the Quran and Hadiths for exactly the same thing. Please before moving back to Africa Please know your tribe and don't come and destroy the economy for the common man

2 years agoIf things don't go well, when we do not prosper, religion is blamed. It is the easy scapegoat for our failings. What's to say things would not be even worse even more hopeless if there was no religion. North Korea, Soviet Russia, Cuba, Venzuela, China, Honduras and other countries where Christianity is supressed by government come to mind. True Christianity teaches to the needs of the community. All good things start from good spirituality.
