Lady, you are so, so beautiful, very beautiful.

Good to honour them but not to be obsessed with them which will interfere with their lives wherever they may may be. Acknowledge that connection with them like our connections with one another in the whole scheme of things among all existence. Just as we have to live our lives, simple to complex, our ancestors, direct and indirect, have their own trainings to do.

We make food and special drinks for our ancestors. We make baths with flowers and essential oils. Floridawater is used alot. We make music and sing to them. We use alot of drums as well to dance on… with African clothes on. We use several patterns and colours. And we have an scarf on our head. We call it a "winti-pre". My roots are from West- Africa. Slavery took us to South – America in " Suriname" my grandfather even to Barbados. In my country there were alot of run away slaves "Marrons". And because of them we still do those things. Even here in The Netherlands where alot of Suriname people lived and live. We also have a lot of Respect & Love for the native Americans. They learned us well how to survive in the jungle "amazon"!!!

You give me alot of saggitarian vibes lol I REALLY want to connect with mine but im scared of some not being that great. I feel like its easy to just believe they want the best for you but some of the stories ive heard are shady. My great geandmother who has recently passed was a christain and how do i know if she reincarnated or decided to stay ?Also when she was alive we didnt get along that well because i just didnt feel a connection with her being christain and I question things alot& that seems to bother older folks so idk what to do. My grandfather on my dads side was a voilent drunk and abused my father & by the grace of god he was adopted and his mother ran off when he was young. It hurts my heart and ik I’m not interested in connecting with those ppl
