Our Today’s Bible Quote is centered on “Standing On The Lord’s Side”. “Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.” Exodus 32:26 .

The story in our opening text underscores two basic things namely:

1.) Where You Stand Morally & Personally When Everyone is Compromising.

2.) Where You Stand Spiritually With God.

Your position and stand in every matter is very vital. As believers, our position and stand in every matter should come from God’s position. Moses had delayed in coming down from the mountain. As a result, the people pressured Aaron into given them an alternative idol in the stead of God.

Aaron as a priest lost his moral and personal stand due to pressure. He was more interested in pleasing men rather than God. Anytime you attempt pleasing men and displeasing The Lord, you get consumed with the world.

Spiritual stand with God is the back bone of your Christian life. When your spiritual position and stand in God is compromised, your relevance and destiny in God begins to erode. Israel lost her spiritual stand with God and became naked- (Exodus 32:25). In the midst of a compromising crowd, there was a remnant who refused to be naked- The Levites. These few were on The Lord’s side. They stood to fight against wickedness and evil in the camp- (Exodus 32:27-28). Your stand with God determines your position in life. Those who stand with God usually become outstanding in life.
