African Spirituality in New Orleans (NOLA) with YeYe LUISAH TEISH and many more…

Sep 2024 17

I had the honor of spending time in New Orleans, Louisiana, a trip I had been Manifesting for a while. I knew exactly who I wanted to go with, my big Sista Queens Imani & Joi, and what I wanted the experience to be centered around, one of Spiritual connection. This is a glimpse into my manifestation as video documented by my Sista Queen Imani Warren and Myself.
*
I chose to post this at this time because it is a high tide for Manifestation right now. The universe is calling for worship and praise of Ancestors and Spirit. So I share these songs and some of the wisdom with you!
*
Please allow spirit to take you wherever it may lead as you watch and listen to the songs and wisdom of some of the most powerful elders in the game. Take notes, share, and move in accordance with spirit. I wish you Wellness. Asé!
*
Special thank you to YeYe LUISAH TEISH, author of Jambalaya, the book that carried me through Bali. ✌🏾

The ending spoke to me. The way she spoke about beauty and how they try to limit our beauty by saying we are doing too much. It also helped me realize that I am holding myself back from my true internal and spiritual beauty by listening to others/assuming what people will think or say about me. This was pure. Asé

New Orleanians claim, celebrate and preserve their african heritage more than any other black community in the US. That is so great to see, I was hurt to witness how this country had brainswashed my people into thinking they didn't have any history beyond slavery. Much love from Africa, you make us proud! This had me very emotional.
