Republic Of Senegal is characterized by a diversity of religious beliefs and practices. Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) has centres of worship for multitude of hundreds of faiths. Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) has Islam as the State religion. It has about (100%) Believer population which is totally extremely high. According to the Census 2022 AD. Islam is the largest religion in the Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) with (96.81%). The Second largest religion is Christianity with (2.099%) that forms various Roman Catholic Churches (Catholicism) and Protestantism that is overall total with many other minorities Eastern Orthodox Christianity, Mormonism and others etc. On Third and Forth are Ahmadiyya with (0.4%), A fat Roog (A Traditional Religion) with (0.245%). But they all remain in minorities. Others remaining (0.29%) includes Leyeneism, Wolofism, Bahai, Hinduism, & many others etc. The Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) will remain Muslim majority (Muslim Nation) regardless population of Other religions (Especially Christianity & Ahmadiyya) growing. The Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) government recognizes Islam as State Religion. The Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) is Muslim. Islam is a fast growing religious group among all Senegalese. The first known religious traditions in Iran traditions developed over time into Zoroastrianism.
Senegal (Republic Of Senegal) has Non-Muslim population (3.19%) which is religious affiliated to other religions which is extremely low/less as compared to total population.
A fat Roog, Wolofism, Soninkeism, Fulanism, Mandinka, Fetishism & Toucouleurism all are Traditional Religions among different Senegalese Traditional Tribes.

The Serer religion, or a ƭat Roog (“the way of the Divine”), is the original religious beliefs, practices, and teachings of the Serer people of Senegal in West Africa. The Serer religion believes in a universal supreme deity called Roog (or Rog).
Some of these religious festivals or ceremonies include the Ndut (rite of passage), Xooy (divination festival once a year in Fatick), and the Raan festival. Senegalese hold several ancient beliefs, such as small efforts of ‘thanks’ or demands, such as protection from water. They also place great importance on the Baobab tree, which is known as the “House of the Spirits.” The baobab tree along with other sacred trees figure prominently in the Serer creation narrative.[14] Among the Jola people, some religious festivals include the Samay, Kumpo and the Niasse.
