2 years agoI did not get a life review. I didn't get judged though I was corrupt. He only said I am not ready and told me to go back and BOOM I was back. The place I saw was a LOT like the Lincoln Memorial.

2 years agoThe lesson I brought back from my NDE – our bodies are just vessels that our souls travel in while on earth & roughly 95% of our time is focused on the vessel and not our soul/energy

2 years agoThere's this saying–"You never know when you're making a memory." How I interpret this is it's the small things in life that you remember. Those are the moments that will stand out to you as you grow old. It will not be the big, (so-called) life-changing, epic events like graduation ceremonies, weddings, expensive vacations, etc. etc. It will be the small, seemingly insignificant moments–usually those shared with other living things. It makes perfect sense that this phenomena continues on into the death process as well.

2 years agoEvidence please. Good deeds? Bad deeds? Come on what is good and bad changes quite often. 40 years ago being queer was considered bad now it is good. In some countries killing is good and in others bad. Work that one out.

2 years agoI’m scared of death and almost died in intensive care, and I want to believe this, but there was shear nothingness if I woke I’d never know I was gone… perhaps that’s also heaven if you think about it

2 years agoHas the occurrence of these "panoramic" near-death-experiences increased since video games and modern technology have become popularized? That should be a crucial question to ask when trying to study this topic, even though it would be rather difficult to answer.

2 years agoAfter you die your brain keeps working for 10 more minutes.
We want to believe something happens after life but all those experiences are basically your brain doing it's thing and this is why it's similar for most people.
This is what I personally believe but sure, you can go with angels and book of life too…

2 years agoThere’s thousands of NDE stories written in books and now voiced on the net. From every walk of life, and from every corner of the world. Religious and non religious, believers and non believers. I’m still surprised many people have still not heard about them. If an atheist has one, they covert. If a believer has one, their belief is strengthened.
@mogglie
2 years agoInteresting idea I got it that when people see angels in NDEs they all dress like Saudi Arabian Muslims.
@Bigjust916
2 years ago"Take heed lest any man deceive you"
While I find NDE's endlessly fascinating, I can't help but wonder if they're something akin to a false religion. Sort of like ancient alien theorists. There's a whole lot of babel these days.

2 years agoI became an atheist around age 15 ….. mainly because at that age I started claiming my independence from what I considered a fairy tale (Christianity). I came to the conclusion that we are spiritual in nature, but organized religion was a scam. I have experienced sleep disorder episodes since about 18 that can only be described as "haunting". I advise you all to Google "hypnagogic hallucinations". These episodes shape your perception of life, faith, the human brain & death. Combining them with my lucid dreaming, my sleep apnea, my lean that I am Narcoleptic & insomnia, creates this cocktail of the worst mix possible. Like everything is either working in tandem or everything is creating it's own narrative. MY NDE was recent. I was undergoing a routine appendectomy when the procedure went awry & caused a Vasovagal syncope. I flatlined. After someone mounted my body & pumped my chest for 2 straight minutes, my heart began functioning again. I recovered pretty much 100%. I am asked constantly about "what I saw". I hate to bust everyone's bubble but there was nothing. Maybe because I was only considered "clinically dead" (whatever that means), that accounted for my lack of an out-of-body experience or seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. No angels. No demons. Just nothing. I have taken many trips to the "astral plane". I have flown through the air & walked through walls like Superman. I have embraced my 3rd eye & my lucid landscape during sleep. I have been though it all including sleep paralysis. I have waken to smells & noises. It has all been as clear as day. What is also clear, is my memory & I woke up after surgery absent of any spiritual intervention. Blind from the second I went under. I thought it would be this thing that I would eventually experience but ….. there was nothing.
