3 years agoI didn’t have an NDE. But one perfectly ordinary night, I fell asleep. Then, I started to “dream”. I "dreamt" I was walking along a lush, verdant, grassy riverbank ; a calm peaceful river meandered into the distance , & I was walking along with "someone". I couldn’t see who it was, I could just hear a disembodied voice talking to me. The voice was male. Then, as we walked along, I saw a pin-point of intense bright light on the other riverbank, across the other side. As we walked, the light started to cross over to our side of the river , becoming larger & more intense as it does so. Although I'm still listening to this voice, I can’t remember what the voice was saying; I had become fascinated with the bright light crossing over, getting larger & brighter, with an increasing intensity. Eventually, this intense white light reaches our side of the river & starts to come toward me, getting brighter still. Then, all of a sudden, I was completely surrounded by this beautiful intense white hot light! And BOY!! It was the most BEAUTIFUL feeling I had ever experienced! ALL my woes , troubles , pains ,worries, anger , sadness & yes, even hate …just simply vanished . I just felt the deep, intense, comfort, of overpowering love & compassion, coursing through every part of my being, bursting with unfathomable happiness. It was then, I yelled at the voice: " WHAT IS THIS LIGHT … IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!?? " And these were the only words I can remember the voice saying: " This, is Jesus Christ…" Then the light fades .. & I awake.
In case you're wondering, I'm not Christian. I wasn’t then, & I wasn't brought up in a Christian family or had any other Christian influences

When you only experience love and goodness, you begin to take it for granted and get complacent. Perhaps we choose to come to earth to experience hardships so we can grow in spirit and return to heaven to again feel the immense love of God. This would be why some choose the more sorrowful lives as they will have the most chance of spiritual growth. I haven't had an NDE but I'd love to hear back from someone who's had.

3 years agoListen.., be careful with a bunch of spiritualism and religion.., and base your salvation on Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ ALONE!!! Satan has MANY spirits of DECEPTION that can cause your soul to be lost. As an atheist, God granted you the gift of being able to see that there IS A GOD AND AN AFTERLIFE! But.., you must understand.., you now have a RESPONSIBILITY to walk accountable and according to THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!!!
It should ALWAYS be a concern when ANY NDE talks about “Heaven” but doesn’t clearly speak of Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and THE LIGHT!!! A soul MUST BE BORN AGAIN in the name of Jesus Christ.., to enter the eternal gates of Heaven!

3 years agoIt's scary being dragged along by a train because it happened to me in my teens. Luckily my leg as caught between the automatic doors of a train and I was being dragged along the platform and I was expecting t be dragged right to the end of it and be thrown down under the wheels but luckily the guard was doing his job and he stopped the train. No injuries at all but I felt like a real dick head as I stood up and dusted myself off in front of a crowded platform. However my NDE came about ten years later during a drug overdose.

3 years agoJust out of curiosity, has even one single person who had a near death experience become born again as Jesus declares, you must be born again.
( Note that none of these people who have NDE experiences claim to have become born again christains through wholehearted repentance of one's own personal sins and through Jesus's sacrifice on the cross received the gift through Gods grace of the Holy Spirit???????

3 years agoWhat amazes me / scares me is these NDEs, some DMT trips and memories recalled from UFO experiences all have similarities. The table, the dark room, the beings, the 'hyper reality' the woman to the right radiating love. So interesting.

3 years agoI was blessed with a brief vision of heaven. Two things that stood out were an indescribable feeling of love and peace. Also, the sky was brightly illuminated but it did not hurt your eyes or make you squint. What a day when we will all be together again !!

3 years agoAs a follower of Christ his experience does not sit right with me. It’s not biblical. If God was anywhere in this…He would be the bright light that knocked him back into his body. I believe that was God saving this man from those creatures disguised as beautiful women. Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:14 an androgynous creature wearing black that he felt comfortable with?….that was this mans sins staring back at him. If It weren’t for God showing up I think this man would’ve been in trouble. I hope he figures it out.
I know no one asked me and I’m not trying to be mean. I just care about souls more than feelings. Jesus is the only way, truth, and life. Please give your life to Him so you don’t have to experience a beautiful deception.

3 years agoMy wife died from cancer at 34. I often feel her presence, and the image of her swimming around in complete love and understanding comes to me. The feeling that she now knows and sees everthing as it actually is. I will be with her once again one of these days.

3 years agoi lost my dear mother quite recently after looking after, and caring for her, for 3 months. i slept in the room next to her every night in case she needed me for any reason. she had been given 2 weeks, at best, to live. she was 87 and fought tooth and nail to carry on with life. the doctors came and said "what is she holding on for?" well, maybe, the love of life. the night she passed was strange. i had spent the week lying by the side of her bed: so she would not be alone. but on this night i awoke at 3am and knew that there was something not quite right. i remember looking down the hallway and seeing a strange light. (i put this down to me being half awake) and went back to sleep. at 5.05am i awoke to find my mom dead. i did not cry. i felt that it was some sort of blessing. for the weeks prior to her passing i cried uncontrollably on many occasions (in private) my mom had a simple life and she was a good, kind person. i feel consoled that she is now somewhere else….

3 years agoWitchfield did not die, meet God and other celestial beings and return with any ability gained during the experience. He will die and meet God someday. Maybe God will want him to explain why he wanted to exalt his experience over the revelation of Jesus Christ and His written Word. Maybe God won't give him a chance to say anything.

3 years agoSo where's the part he said he met God? All He talks about is light and energy, where was God? Did he not ask Him questions or talk to Him? Sounds like he went to a mock heaven where the devil and his demons disguised themselves for just in case he returns back to life cause there's so much thats missing there compare to other stories of people that actually met God in my research, even stories about people visiting hell and several people talk about how they see other souls in hell that just passed away and at first the demons disguise themselves as something good in case they go back to life but once they really know they got them and they are not going back to life, then they reveal their true nature. This didnt give any answers whatsoever. On to my next research this didn't explain anything it just sounds alot like mock heaven that other people described where the demons let you see what THEY want you to see at first. Still doing some research comparisons. I have gathered stories from people who actually visited heaven and other stories of people who actually visited hell in the after-life and compare them with the similarities from one another.
