3 years agoTravis, you brought me to tears. I'm an Episcopal priest nearing retirement and have been under the impression for many years that what you've outlined is who and what we are as human beings; that at "death" our energy returns to its Source….ALL of us…and that we are in essence all One Being united by what we call "love" but is infinitely sooooooo much more. I read Conversations when it first came out. Informative and inspirational. I rejoice that you are finding Peace. I also loved your coming out video and your video with your dad. 🏳🌈

3 years agoSo glad you have been shown the truth. We are all source energy and this reality is an illusion. I had bad depression as a kid and I didn't want to be here either. And one day I was laying in bed crying asking why I was feeling the way I felt. Suddenly it was like someone poked my stomach and their finger went through and when they pulled it out it rippled through my entire body. It was like every cell and atom in my body was experiencing pure bliss, happiest I've ever felt to this day, it made me cry with joy. Then a voice said to me "This is as much as your human body can experience but know that this is not all there is" and it stopped. Ever since I've been spiritual but not religious. I try to tell other people that we are all gods co creating this reality but they just think I'm crazy. I'm so glad to hear you understand the world we live in. ❤

3 years agoI'm so happy for you, Travis! I just so happened to check your channel to see if you'd posted in the last few months, and sure enough, you did. When reading the title, I knew this was going to be a good update on your depression. I remember watching how broken and hurt you looked last year and wishing I could come through the computer and share with you some of these truths you've finally now discovered. I remember feeling so frustrated that you were rigorously and desperately pursuing these medical treatments that seemed to only have temporary benefit for you. There still felt like there was something missing and I knew it was a spiritual component, yet you didn't seem open to that at the time, thinking that the doctors and science was the answer. The answer to so many mental health and life issues is a spiritual one. I do energy healing work and have helped people with suicidal depression and reconnected them with their souls and why they are here, and it often makes such a big difference. As you said, the old pain just falls away as we remember. You had such a light in you, but you weren't open to that perspective yet. I'm glad that the psychedelics helped prepare you or opened your psyche for this profound experience. Like another commenter said, "FINALLY!" I cried listening to your story. I'm so happy you had this beautiful transformative experience and was able to "get" the truth of reality, G-d, and humanity. You've blessed us with sharing it. Your energy seems so much lighter, brighter, weightless, positive, present, clear, and giving. Your face is glowing from within. It's wonderful to see your soul shining and radiating now. You can make such a bigger difference to others now, and you're such a gifted communicator, artist, and filmmaker, I can't wait to see what you do going forward!

3 years agoI've followed NDE's for a decade now, but because I've never experienced it yet (that I can remember) I struggle with the point of life. But it's so cool you had your experience and can live with a new (remembered) lease on life. I try to live that way, with belief that time is infinite and there is no rush to achieve anything, but rather to start by just being and existing.

3 years agoOh my days ketamine messed my life up back in the day, I was extremely depressed during this time. You mess up your bladder and kidneys too, good job you didn’t need a catheter for life. Drugs make mental health so much worse, they fuck up your brain chemistry, pollute it with a ton of toxic heavy metals that worsen mental health issues. Stay away from psychedelics if you want to protect your mental health! The brain saver books from Medical Medium are the answers to healing mental health symptoms and conditions.

3 years agoHey, Travis. It sounds like you had too much ketamine and experienced what they call a k-hole experience. I was rescued from suicide by ketamine in 2018 and had infusions every three weeks until late last year. It really gave me a life I never knew, free of the constant thoughts. I am concerned about the protocols at the clinic. Given my new life from ketamine, I formed a non-profit to help low-income people pay for the infusions who cannot afford them otherwise and who are near or in crisis. I have become very involved in educating myself, not just about ketamine, but other psychedelic research as well.
I work with almost all of the ketamine clinics in Wisconsin, and your assessment of the clinics wanting to sting patients along is not what I know. Things may be different with your clinic. I know of many, many clinics that will reduce fees and even treat patients for free if necessary and they are in crisis. You are absolutely correct that the cost of the drug is less than $2.00 per dose. But, as you know, the infusion is not a walk in and walk out treatment. There are lots of costs associated with an infusion. Ketamine causes elevated heart rate and blood pressure, so the patient has to be monitored at all times during the infusion and recovery. None of this is free. The IV pump costs money. The monitors cost money. The staff costs money. $600/infusion is high, at least here. The infusions range from $375-$495, depending on the clinic.
Our non-profit provides direct financial assistance where it is needed. Apart from that, we assist people who do not qualify also. In my experience, many insurance plans will cover therapeutic infusions at some level…just not ketamine. Since the cost of the drug is so low, who cares if insurance companies pay for the drug as long as they pay for the infusion. We help would-be clients file claims for reimbursement from their insurance companies, which helps with the infusion costs, even if the patient doesn't qualify for our direct financial assistance. Things are changing, slowly. More insurance plans are covering ketamine infusions, as are more state Medicaid programs.
There is much on the horizon for mental health. Psychedelics are being studied and approved all over the world. It is just a matter of time before MDMA and psilocybin are approved for drug-assisted therapy in the US. MDMA will likely be approved next year for PTSD, and psilocybin for major depressive disorder in probably three years or so. Clinical ttrials of DMT are just getting under way in the US. LSD is also be researched.
After my life-saving treatment with ketamine in 2018, Dr. Sanjay Gupta had a segment with me on CNN. My ketamine clinician was interviewed in that segment as well. We all believe that the psychedelic experience of ketamine is an integral part of the healing, in addition to the neurological changes from the drug itself. You can Google it or let me know and I can send you a link to it or to our non-profit if you want to learn more.
Glad to hear you're doing better. Transformative psychedelic experiences can truly work wonders. Personally, I think they help us learn and understand that reality is limited by the evolved five senses that we possess. I think "reality" is limited by those sense, and understanding that goes a long way toward becoming well. I am an atheist, personally, and see things through a natural lens rather than a supernatural one. But whatever works!
Best toyou!

3 years agoI am so happy you finally got over your depression and found nirvana Travis. I've always thought the reason for this human experience was very similar to what you described, and that the good in us is amplified in god so we are part of god. I will take your advice and read those books. Hope to hear more from you soon. Take care Will

3 years agoIt’s actually called a K-Hole. It’s very common for Ketamine users to go into a K-Hole. It’s considered an “out of body experience.” Where, just as Travis described, the person can actually see & hear their own body and everything that is going on around them, from a different perspective, usually from above, looking down. K-Holes can be enjoyable, or they can be quite scary. Everyone experiences them differently, and they are never the same. Think of it as a mini-trip, like shrooms or LSD. You are hallucinating in a K-Hole, the experience that occurs is made up in the individual’s mind. One of my friends fell into a K-Hole playing Mario and saw himself jumping around the room from objects on the wall, as if HE was Mario. Another friend of mine was a celebrity (in his mind) for 5 minutes and thought he was in a movie and on the red carpet. And to him, it was so real. You can’t convince them that it didn’t happen.
It’s actually very very very difficult to die from Ketamine overdose. Especially if you have nothing else in your system, it’s next to impossible unless you have an underlying health condition… (this is why Mario Adrion even said he tried it before because of how safe it was lol) Even if you inject it directly into your blood, you just fall asleep. (It’s what dexter uses in the Showtime show. And they always wake up because it’s a tranquilizer, not deadly.) The experience of a K-Hole largely depends on your surroundings & what is going on in your mind at the time. My ex was in a K-Hole for 30 mins before when I was younger and I go so scared, his eyes were open the entire 30 mins, with tears dripping down. But he was just laying there comatose, not moving once or blinking… In his experience, he didn’t witness anything too crazy. He was just watching me and my friend trying to wake him up, but he was sitting in the ceiling fan, spinning in circles along with the blades, looking down at us. This makes sense, since when he fell into the K-Hole, he was laying on the bed looking up at the ceiling/fan. He was able to repeat verbatim what we were saying when he finally came back to. For him, he was terrified after that and never did it again.
I’m glad Travis had this experience and it changed his way if thinking. It’s a beautiful thing to hear. Just wanted to clarify that Ketamine is likely not the cause of a “near death experience.” Especially when given in such small amounts, medicinally by nurses/professionals who are monitoring everything. They likely said he was just acting out of it, because that’s all that ended up happening, in the “real world.” And that’s not to take any credit away from what Travis saw, or experienced, or felt. It sounds beautiful, and I hope to get to experience that one day myself. Maybe I need a Ketamine prescription 😂😂😂

3 years agoGive you a big warm hug, and you must believe that you can get through this difficult time. I can feel the distress and impact firsthand, because I also went through this kind of mental torment twenty-one years ago, but thankfully I finally got through it. You are not fighting alone, you are surrounded by people who care and love you. Fighting! Love you and take care 🤗💕🍀🍀🍀
