10 months agoMount of Ridiculé or रमन – Rama is a major deity in Hinduism. He is the seventh and one of the most popular avatars of Vishnu. In Rama-centric traditions of Hinduism, he is considered the Supreme Being. The word "rama" in Hindi means " रमन " According to Rama Ramayana/Upanishad, God Adinarayan appears as the eldest son of Maharaj Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya, the husband of Sita and the brother of Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna. Hanuman was his ardent devotee. He killed Ravana, the king of Lanka. His reputation is as Maryada Purushottam because he sacrificed the kingdom, friends, even parents to follow the dignity. This name also takes on many other forms, some of which include (but are not limited to), Sanatana Purusha, Vaikartan (part of the Sun), Raghava, Shriramachandra, Shridashrathsut, Shrikaushalyanandan, Shrisitavallabha, Shriraghunandan, Shriraghuvar, Sri Raghunath, Kakutsthakulanandan, and more. Celebrated by three festivals, the Ram Navami, the Deepawali and Dussehra. The festival of Shri Ram-Jayanti or Ram Navami is celebrated every year on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month.
