“I Was Surprised by My Own Death” | Elisabeth Tauss's Near Death Experience
Elisabeth Tauss is a psychologist and radiesthetist from Graz (Austria). In April 2014 she was, as she puts it, “surprised by her own death” when a discharge occurred while dowsing. She suffered from a ventricular fibrillation.
After long and intense efforts to reanimate her, the doctors were able to bring her back to her physical life. As a result of the long cardiac arrest, an arm had to be amputated. During the time of her coma, Elisabeth Tauss had an intense but “healing” near-death experience, which changed her life and world view permanently.
Contents:
00:00 Introduction
01:14 What happened in April 2014 during your near-death experience?
03:08 What happened externally during that time?
04:02 So the couple just realized that you had fallen …
04:08 How did you experience that?
07:53 People who had a near-death experience often report that they meet their relatives and friends. They don’t appear old and frail but rather at their peak of life. Did you have a similar experience?
08:45 What happened after you had spoken to them? What else did you experience? Can you still remember?
10:27 Are there any other interpretations that you can remember?
12:16 Was there some sort of decision that urged you to do it? Or a decision that made you want to go back into your own body?
15:17 So you hadn’t been religious before?
16:06 So you had the feeling that you had to change completely? To what extent? What did you think about?
17:10 So you associated this encounter with God definitively with the Christian belief system?
17:45 So religion would be a crutch to get closer to that experience?
18:05 Let’s go back to changing one’s life. Did this trigger other thoughts too such as “I should live more responsible” or an even more conscious life?
19:31 So you just collapsed while dowsing in this apartment. And then you were sent to hospital. What were the physical results of this event?
22:06 The coma was artificially supported?
24:36 What was waking up like? How did you experience that?
25:28 So you’ve been in the middle of a near-death experience?
28:11 What was it like when you woke up in your own body again? How did you deal with all those experiences?
30:04 How did you get the idea to connect the ventricular fibrillation with dowsing?
32:06 As far as I am aware it’s not even known by the community of radiesthecians that these things can happen.
34:19 May I quote you: „I experienced healing and transformation because of brother death.“ Has death become a brother to you? Is it part of normal life? What’s your opinion of death today?
36:43 Have you become more relaxed?
36:55 How has this experience affected your life in the long run? Such as your occupational activities or your relationship to other people?
40:31 Would you relate this to your encounter with the light?
44:35 You’ve also tried to process your experiences from an ideological standpoint and classified them. You’ve drawn connections to the “Book of the Dead” by the ancient Egyptians and also to legends of the Mayans. Which link can you see here?
47:52 So death is part of a bigger cycle?
48:00 Are you planning to work with a dowsing rod again?

4 months agoI'm very sorry for the ungrateful comments about the dubbing. These people should be ignored. We really appreciate everyone who takes part in making these videos.
Thank you very much indeed for your hard work.

4 months agoWe used to use dowsing rods to find the best place to drill for a well when I was a kid, it never failed. Side note , this woman has such a strong likeness to my family, I’m Irish and the youngest of 14, she could easily be mistaken for a sister of mine.

4 months agoWe say ‘resuscitation’ in English not ‘reanimation.’ All your translations always say the latter!
Thanks so much for these English translations though, I’m very grateful.

@TootlesTart
4 months agoShe is so cute. Reminds me of my host mom when I studied abroad. It’s so interesting that in Germany dowsing has always been taken as real, while in the USA it’s considered fringe.

4 months agoSo interesting. I really wish he would have asked her more about what she experienced talking to God such as more details of what the energy presence look like and felt like, and how she felt and any other communication she got from this presence. I really also wish he would not always end the interview so abruptly. Why not ask people if there's anything more that they would like to share, any final thoughts.

4 months agoThis is that voice-over again. The woman doesn’t speak in the proper cadences and her pronunciation is like a valley girl with bad pronunciation.

4 months agoIs there anyway I can get in contact with Elizabeth? An email or something? As someone who defends the Christian faith there is so much evidence for the truthfulness of Christianity and as someone who is very rational myself there are so many resources out there that help people get answers to some of these difficult questions. Of course, we can’t know everything, no worldview can know everything… However, there have been some very smart people who have thought about all of these tough objections to Christianity for the last several thousand years and have developed some pretty good answers to most of these objections. I would love to get a hold of her and at least point her to some resources that she can look to that will help her grapple with the intellectual side of Christianity.

4 months agoYou NEVER KNOW how much time you have. That is a trick of the devil. It sounds like when you died, you went to hell first. Please take my advice & take the time to get to know Jesus & his father in Heaven. I would pray & ask The Father what your lesson was suppose to be about. (Just some advice). You see….God is PURE LOVE. It has NOTHING to do with religion & everything to do with your heart. God bless You! 💓

@francieleone
4 months agoWhy not talk about what happened while she was dead? These are all about just dying. No spiritual stuff. Actually so boring.
@tccummins
4 months agoIt's interesting to me how some NDE'ers experience spontaneous healing, yet Elisabeth suffered a blood clot in her arm that result in her losing it. I can only assume that was part of her life plan, otherwise why do some people get healed after an NDE and others don't?
@ivorybow
4 months agoIt's fascinating how there are unique aspects to every NDE, while also similarities. Also, I can't think that I have ever heard anyone say, "I used to be a psychiatrist." I was quite startled by that. What a life she has led!

@skywatcher1972
4 months agoWerner did his best, but this was a difficult case. Spiritually, Elizabeth was not in the best place at the time of death. I feel so bad for her! An NDE should have healing properties, after all. I pray she becomes more spiritually close to God, and she is whole again. . .
@markypro57
4 months agoI had a NDE after a motorcycle accident. I felt myself floating away from the scene and then having the most peaceful feeling I've ever had in my life. I then entered the tunnel of light with the brightest of lights towards the end of the tunnel. I then saw my gf and her family waving me back and woke up in the hospital.

@yuliaschannel6288
4 months agoWhat she is talking about reminds me more of Hinduism than Christianity.
@patriciaartes9949
4 months agoThese Thanatos NDE videos are all similarly over thought. The validly of what happened is somehow lost in the muddle of reflection…like a childhood story that keeps changing every time told. I wish the interviewer would keep them to the actual events and not the psychological aftermath.
