Government to offer grocery voucher to urge the elderly to get the jab

The Minister of Health Dr Joe Phahla last week announced that the national department of health would be taking up a vaccination programme that would incentivize people over the age of 60 years old who vaccinate for Covid-19 in the month of November. The programme is set to give the said group with R100 grocery vouchers that would be used at certain stores. Director at the Rural Health Advocacy Project, Russell Resberg weigh ins on the matter.

This supposed to be vaccine does not give immunity but it is treated as such.

Why is the vaccine free but when you become sick with side effects of the vaccine than you should pay.

The people dont come because they are told on one hand the vaccine does not give immunity and on the other hand they are told that it can minimize the risk of getting covid or dying with covid 19 but yet there are Testimonies of those that got covid 19 after been fully vaccinated.

Government never really addressed the issues of suspected covid 19 suspected vaccinations deaths properly that's one of the things that turn the people off.

We are treated like illiterates, foolish we are treated like do as we say.

There is no proper accountability with regards to vaccinations and covid 19.

There are no platforms to engage with the president of the ministers of health.

The events around covid 19 are not consistent.

Hence the doubts and questions around covid 19 and vaccination
