The church in Thyatira had a problem. There was a false prophetess Jesus called Jezebel who was leading the Christians away from the truth, teaching sexual immorality, and encouraging them to eat food sacrificed to idols. They had a Jezebel spirit in their midst. The real problem was with the leadership. They were tolerating her behavior and allowing passivity. Jesus rebukes them sharply and calls them to repent.

Next podcast, we’ll look at the church in Sardis. What happens when your church looks alive, has a reputation for being active, but Jesus calls you dead? Is it possible to look alive on the outside but be truly spiritually dead on the inside? Join us as we dive deeper.
