CA farm ICE raid: 200 arrested, children rescued from alleged forced labor, DHS says
The Washington Examiner’s Anna Giaritelli joins LiveNOW’s Andrew Craft to discuss the ICE operations at a California cannabis farm on Thursday, which resulted in roughly 200 arrests, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The agency adds children were rescued from alleged potential exploitation, forced labor and human trafficking.
Meantime, one farmworker was killed, and more were critically injured after federal immigration raids at farms in Ventura County. Other workers – including U.S. citizens – remain unaccounted for, according to the United Farm Workers.
