“Tribals have always shared an extraordinary bond with dogs, a bond built on both survival and loyalty. There are two main reasons behind this deep connection. The first is purely practical—whenever the tribals go hunting in the dense forests, they never go alone. A dog always walks beside them, helping track animals, guiding them through difficult terrains, and protecting them from sudden dangers. Without dogs, hunting would be far more difficult, and their role is considered vital for the tribe’s survival.

But the second reason goes beyond hunting—it is a story of bravery and loyalty. Once, the tribal chief himself was caught in a life-threatening situation when a group of lions surrounded him in the jungle. Just when it seemed impossible to escape, a courageous dog risked its own life and attacked the lions, giving the chief a chance to survive. That unforgettable moment changed the way tribals looked at dogs forever. Since then, dogs have been treated with immense respect, even greater than a father’s position in the family.

For tribals, dogs are not just animals—they are family, protectors, hunting partners, and symbols of loyalty. This unique bond has become a core part of their culture and traditions.”
