A near death experience

Jan 2023 17

Hey all, a really crazy day and event. I never thought they would actually let a medical student do these things. A day I will likely never forget.

Dear Zach, that was not a near death experience, it was just a chat about your first code blue experience and I didn't appreciate the click-bate.

It has always moved me to tears the way people will drop everything and race to help a total stranger. Not only doctors but firemen and police and ordinary people whose one aim suddenly becomes an overwhelming desire to save the life of someone they don't know, even at risk of their own life. People who race into burning buildings and jump into flooded rivers, who dig through collapsed rubble with their bare hands. Unremarked heroes whose one thought is to save someone they don't know. My heart fills with love every time I hear or read about them.

This makes me determined to have non-resus order. That poor lady in her 80s being assaulted by a team. Leave her alone and let her go to God.

A NDE is not death..Unless you are born again as Jesus said in John 3:3..and have confessed him as your Lord and saviour..and are living in a relationship.with him you will never see heaven!..

If you don't know him as your Lord and saviour..any NDE of light is a lie of the father of lies..the liar who can transform himself into an angel of light..Satan!

You can not die in your sins that were not wiped clean by the cross of Jesus..and live with God and expect heaven..

If you are not sure if you are saved..there is a video in Playlist called What must I do to be saved..with pastor Hagee..I encourage you to go there today.

Completely useless video and nothing about nde. This was a waste of time and a boring story.

Hi Zach, very interesting video about your first CodeBlue experience.

  18. #18

But code blues are not always for heart attacks. They can also be called on a person not breathing.

  19. #19

Note to self NEVER USE THIS DOCTOR!

  20. #20

But what did the patient remember about her experience ?

  21. #21

Zach: telling us he did CPR on this lady and contributed hands on to saving her life
me: crying while smiling cause i feel so proud of him

I am a nursing student and I have heard code blue and seen how crazy it gets. I have never participated in one I am kind of scared but well one day I’ll have to do it right

Having been on the opposite (receiving) side of Code Blue there is not much I remember. My surgeon told me after (I did have OHS) and I jokingly said that I already got a paddling before they could start surgery. I thanked her profoundly of course. When I was in ICU, recovering, there was another code…. Code Black and that was the saddest day in my life. To lay there in my bed and see the family come in, in pure disbelieve and crying for they lost a husband, a father, a brother. What I saw on "the podium" was how they analyzed the happening, everything is recorded, that analyzing was when it hit, when I learned what stress these people live under each day.

This is so random but do you know anyone in the Philly area that would be interested in helping with Pathophysiology? If you know of any med students open to tutoring in Pathophys over the next couple of months please let me know!

  26. #26

What is a code blue? Can anyone tall me?

  27. #27

Exactly like the story from "Choices: the story you play" I get the picture and stress of medical workers just by that game. Amazing!

  28. #28

I love the fact that you are a 3rd year student, so you can understand how few we know about medicine and science, not like an attending who talks and gives advices that won't really work for us, keep it up πŸ‘ŠπŸ‘Š

This channel looks like stock footage

  30. #30

Where can I find that orange and blue screen saver you have going on in the background? I love the color scheme!

  31. #31

Code blue among others are used globally.
