The woman who told me had had a near death experience on operating table when she was 12 years old. Classic experience, she left her body, she went up, she saw the surgeons, she went further. And she came back and she was very glad to come back. But it was hard. And many people who have near death experiences struggle because it is so beautiful that it can be hard to come back here where things are a little denser, they don’t move as smoothly and there are more limitations, three dimensions and things like that, physical bodies. But she said something that really moved me. She said that even when she was there. She could tell that it was so free of pain and so blissful that there wasn’t enough friction to actually be able to grow. And coming back was where she could grow and evolve. It wasn’t going to happen in that place where there was no friction.

ABOUT DR. SARAH KERR, PHD
As a sacred deathcare practitioner and teacher, I’m passionate about helping my clients and students meet death and loss in a soul-based way.

I’ve been in practice since 2012, helping people find the healing gifts that can accompany death and loss.

I have a PhD in Transformative Learning, with a focus on contemporary ritual healing. I’ve been a student of cross-cultural energy healing for almost three decades and have studied with many Indigenous and western teachers.

I’ve made my own journeys through death and loss, into healing and resolution.

I offer myself in service to both the seen and the unseen world, and I work for healing on both sides of the veil.
