1 year agoI'm Jamaican. They also told us in church that our family members who "died outside of Christ" are demonic. They go further to say, even if the deceased person is a Christian, and they come in the dream, the Church told us it is a demon parading the Christian person who is deceased. It was hell in that religion. Today, I prepare meals and I serve my ancestors first, before I even eat. I LOVE my ancestors.

1 year agoThank you for this. I have a question, maybe someone can also help. Do you have to have separate altars for orisha deities and ancestors? Or do you just change the same altar table on different days with different items for each deity and each ancestor?

1 year agoI am blessed to have ur channel on my feed today. Thank you. I’ve been building my connection with my Ancestors and the other day I heard in my Spirit, “whiskey.” You should’ve seen my reaction when you said that haha. I left Christianity years ago and started studying Indian culture and astrology bc it felt truer to me than my upbringing. Since the April 8 2024 eclipse, I’ve been guided to my roots. I’m Liberian and born in the US. Thank you again and I have already shared your content and will continue to do so.

1 year agoGreat video. Thank you. Can you make a video suggesting how to practice African Spirituality and venerate the Ancestors for those who live in college dorms, military barracks, or firehouses or those who have a spouse, roommate or relative who wouldn't understand/accept these practices under their roof. What can be done in nature or internally when life's situation doesn't allow external expressions at home?
