2 years agoThank you. Now, I'm from the souttheastern part of Nigeria where we have among the largest populations of naturally light-coloured melanated people in Afrika – in fact worldwide. I'm referring to the Igbo and Ibibio people. Now, anyone with some sort of colonial colour mentality complex over there would find many light-skinned people around her (yes, it's overwhelmingly a female thing) and want to become like them. By extension, many light-skinned people exist in the whole of southern Nigeria and there are those with that same inferiorty complex who would find it easy to succumb to trying to be like the people they see around them. That's a problem enough on its own; however, what makes it more problematic is that Nigeria has a large population, no need to remind anyone about that – anything that Nigerians desire is going to sell in huge numbers. That is the reason it is easy to locate Nigeria top in the skin bleaching statistics – there are so many of us and more worryingly, there are so many of us with a colonial mentality.

2 years agoLooking at that breakdown of the term "chemistry," I now see why my high school tried to discourage me from studying it when I wanted it. "We don't want you to get too far ahead of your peers" is the excuse they gave me. If only I had comprehended what was really being said to me. (I'm American Negro and grew up in Philadelphia, PA, USA)

2 years agoDear Sisters, I am in Washington, DC. Unfortunately I have not traveled overseas, however, I feel like I am with you. So…now we are at a point beginning to realize our true worth and here come the palm people exploiting that! I have been studying history over 30 years. Black history, but the information I get from your channel covers topics I doubt I would stumbled upon. Or less likely. Thank you. I wish the bad palm people would go away. To another planet. The more they hate us the more I am curious what they see…not what is there, but what they see. It is coming to a point as we awaken they are losing their control. 2 years agoWhat a sick debate. Didn't see it completely. Now Africans want a thing where dark skin is superior than white. Which itself is racism.
Where there is no blistering sun thr one doesn't need higher melanin content. Human skin evolved as per it's need.
African racism needs to be contained and they need to develop character. Even white YouTubers don't go racist openly.
India and Chinese and Sumerians were the first civilizations and they were not Africans.
Now studying diff race is something which westners have been doing and they did more good than harm since it opened ABT bygone era such stone age, age of civilization n so on. Westerners also have brought many ancient languages back to life such as Egyptians, Assyrians, Sumerians n so on along with their history and not Africans which is good and it should be appreciated and not used to play victim card which is the norm among Africans for their racial hate campaign

2 years agoI used to wonder about King Tut. Most art work depicts his color as reddish brown however there was a statue in his tomb that has him depicted as jet black. Upon further investigation I read that during his life a Pharaoh is considered the embodiment of Horus, the sun 🌞 god. However upon his death the King becomes Asar or Osiris who is called “God of The Perfect Black” as one of his most important titles.

2 years agoMany Jamaicans are now living in our country and most of us are shocked 😮at how much they bleach their skin. We all talk about it and how painful it looks. It's far from beautiful. The skin looks like its bleeding. I agree that it is a self hatred brought about by slavery but my question is why is it that only some people from certain countries do it.
