True Story:

Why I Believe in God

My conviction in the existence of a Creator is deeply rooted in love and was profoundly reinforced by an extraordinary experience I had not long after being discharged from the hospital. Although we may not see or hear God in a conventional sense, this encounter in the "Victory Outreach" church—a Christian congregation—left no doubt in my mind about God's presence.

At that time, my spine was reinforced with two stainless steel bars, a necessity that brought me constant discomfort. The inability to lean back without pain was a constant reminder of my vulnerability.

Then, one evening, prompted by a family friend, I attended a service at the church, which featured a guest speaker renowned for her healing touch. Eager for any relief from my physical and emotional wounds, I found myself in a moment of surrender. Amidst a gathering of faith, as individuals approached the altar for prayer and the healer moved through the congregation, I stood from my wheelchair, palms raised skyward, and committed my life to God.

In that moment of complete surrender, a sensation of warmth blossomed at the center of my spine, radiating outwards in a manner both inexplicable and profound. It was as if a small ember of divine presence had ignited within me, growing in intensity until my entire being was enveloped in a comforting embrace. My physical reaction was involuntary—eyes sealed shut, fists clenched, body trembling—yet mentally, I was awash in tranquility, allowing the experience to envelop me without resistance.

This warmth, this unmistakable sign of divine intervention, was the purest expression of love I had ever felt, devoid of pain or fear. It left me and the witnesses around me in awe, as they joined in prayer and laid hands upon me during this miraculous occurrence.

Compelled by a sense that something fundamental had changed within me, I later checked for the bars in my back, half-expecting them to have vanished. Though they remained, subsequent X-rays revealed that both bars had snapped in precisely the same location, as if severed by an unseen force. My doctors were confounded, their inquiries about potential accidents met with my simple, unwavering belief: "God did it."

This experience, more than any other, cemented my faith in the existence of a benevolent Creator, whose presence, though unseen, is ever powerful and profoundly personal.

Where are located . I've been faced with death several times. Stroke, heart attack, widow maker, drowned and 5 bypass heart surgery. All this after being in track for 20 years. ran with the best in the world tried out for pro foot ball. I feel you. God bless you.

That Light. 🥰🙏🏼 that space of Love. But you Feel like every cell and atom and piece of you is in Euphoria. Breathing is like the juiciest most delicious thing you e ever experienced. Everything makes sense suddenly. You suddenly Know why it all happened. .
I was held in that space for almost 2 years and I was taught me/ guided during that time.
The answer is always Love.
Not chasing that space/ light/ feeling has been a challenge. I’m still figuring out what to do with this new truth. This Knowing.
