Everyone that claims to see a light or God after they die is a liar and simply says so because they want to believe so much that they try to use almost dieing as "proof". I have been dead more than anyone in these comments. I've almost died from anaphylaxis 5 times, and when I say that I mean lost consciousness, no heartbeat, hasn't breathed for 5-8 minutes. It's only dark. It's all dark. There is nothing after life. These people have time to wakeup and create a story. I told the doctor every time I woke up it was just dark. Like going to sleep. There is absolutely nothing there.

I drowned once as a kid and after that initial fight I accepted my fate and I actually felt at peace sinking to the Bottom, next thing I know a lifeguard saved my life and I had that chlorine smell in my nose for days 😂, no afterlife stuff for me tho

The reason is easy to explain. Those 10-20 seconds while your brain is still functioning feels like a lifetime. Just like a dream that may only last 5 minutes but feels like it lasted 8 hours. Your brain is flooded with seratonin and dopamine and you have wild trips.

I have a cousin who almost died in a car accident, and ge claimed he knew when people were talking to him and he could hear everyone, and when he was unconscious he had a out of body experience, abd when he woke up like a weak or 2 later he was scared and could belarely move cuase of th injuries, and he seamed very motivated to change his life and do better but right after he got healthier he went back to normal like nothing happened and back to his old ways so ig alot of people have diffrent experiences either claim to see God or just memories or whatever. Some people change, and some don't, so i believe this life should just be enjoyed be a good person and be a nice person, and it doesn't matter what your beliefs and faiths are just be a good person and enjoy the gift of life.

I had a near death experience. I had zero of the experiences. 4 wheeler accident. I went unconscious because I was under the ATV and couldn’t breathe. I I don’t know how long I was out. But the moment my friends pulled it off of me I jumped straight to my feet gasping for air.

I was in a coma for a month had a 15% chance of living. When I woke up they said your brain doesn’t function during a coma but I was locked in my friends basement I look out his back window and I saw this blue reflector light and bright white lights I tried to open the door it was locked not going to opening I was so stressed out to. When I woke up finally they take me out of the ICU they wheel me out I see the reflector light and the bright lights in the hallway and so I had to be out of my body looking out of the ICU room door. A was really odd. Before I woke up I was sitting in my friend’s basement and there were chairs all around me. When I did wake up all those chairs were there around me with my family looking at me sitting in chairs. It’s so strange. But I feel like if that door opened I would have never made it back to my body.

When the doctor pumped me full of to many pain meds causing a overdose I saw myself in a 3rd person view but I was surrounded by darkness it felt like I was slowly falling into a deep black pit just stuck with my own thoughts I felt so lonely and scared and after what felt like hours I woke up in the hospital bed gasping for air and instantly crying turns out it was only minutes but gotta make me wonder what if one little crash and that’s it into the dark void.

this shit right here brings me so much peace. For certain reasons i’ve lost faith in any religion and any god, but hearing how common the out of body experience is described, that Brings me so much trust in death, and takes away a lot of my fear of death
