Sabine Hossenfelder investigates life’s big questions through the lens of physics, particularly Einstein’s theory of special relativity. She highlights the relativity of simultaneity, which states that the notion of “now” is subjective and dependent on the observer. This leads to the block universe concept, where past, present, and future all exist simultaneously, making the past just as as the present.

Hossenfelder also emphasizes that the fundamental laws of nature preserve information rather than destroy it. Although information about a deceased person disperses, it remains an integral part of the universe. This idea of timeless existence, derived from the study of fundamental physics, offers profound spiritual insights that can be difficult to internalize in our everyday lives. As a result, Hossenfelder encourages people to trust the scientific method and accept the profound implications of these discoveries, which may reshape our understanding of life and existence.

As a physicist, Hossenfelder trusts the knowledge gained through the scientific method and acknowledges the challenge of integrating these deep insights into our daily experiences. By contemplating these profound concepts, we can potentially expand our understanding of reality and our place within it.

What do you think of this explanation of time?

Why do these people get paid? Nothing she said contributed to further understanding the afterlife. Finally after all her gobldygook she said the only thing that matters, your grandma is dead, her body broke down and now the energy that made her up has been dispersed. She no longer is self aware and you will never see her again.
    The end.

Hey Sabine, why is our friend always Alice, Don't you have anymore friends?😂 I love your videos very informative and pretty much easy to understand. Sometimes I have to watch a short part again but then I get it.👍

  4. #4

So all phases of time exist simultaneously?

  5. #5

I knew it!! I conjectured this/these possibilities about 15 years ago. I have no formal scientific training, but these possibilities came to me thru deep meditation and thought.

Given the speed of the train if it's the way you say she would be invisible it's the slit experiment in a sense… The physics and understanding of light is wrong It's not a shared consciousness It's like saying time doesn't exist but events happen don't they And not just human events spatial celestial And so on

  7. #7

That's amazing! I had that exact same thought before I stumbled across this video!

I believe in people still existing everywhere all the time after death in a broad sense because I sometimes dream of being with someone in my sleep, without knowing beforehand of their passing or having known it was coming, so the thought that they are everywhere makes sense to me because our brains interpret information they receive, and somehow a person’s essence reached my mind like a frequency I could read. I just believe my brain interprets the information the best way it knows how. I think it’s possible to be everything anywhere all the time, like a drop of ink that fills a clear water up.

Oh god this is awful clickbait nonsense, physics can’t tell us about the afterlife and your grandmother isn’t still alive

we can perceive past the dimensions of space and time. our existence is an outlier. it remains unbound by time and space in a very real sense when you get down to the science of it. Similar to Interstellar, our existence is our measure of Love. It transcends past present and future and space.

So ghosts are real? Just their energy vibrating? That’s why it’s always them doing some regular people stuff, like looking outside or walking by? Because it’s happening now in their time

  12. #12

I understood absolutely none of that.🤦‍♀️

  13. #13

This is why blackholes have the universe inside them. If light cannot leave blackholes, then blackholes have all past.

In the train example, even though the person is moving with the train, wouldn’t the light flashes arrive at the same time at her location? Isn’t the speed of light always the same, relative to the observer, no matter the speed of that observer, according to Einstein’s theory of relativity?

There is no such thing as "Cosmic Consciousness" there is such things "human mind and consciousness" the Materialistic doktrine "The Universe is = god" is paganism and based on ancient greek ""Pantheism" religion doktrine. Universe is only one of the many worlds(& paralel universes that Allah God created.

My Religion is God's Quran(-true islam) Religion and a Quranic verse::<-Allahu Bedias-semevati vel ardz> ('-Allah God He created the Heavens and Earth from non-existence-nothingness") also <-Allah God He created the heavens and Earth as realities>(hakikat) which means that: the Heavens and earth life forms etc. are Real and they exist.

  17. #17

    Very good analysis. Thank you.

  18. #18

Hi you got Dilation of Time video wrong sorry your a fraud

  19. #19

cannot verify or validate its ambiguous

  20. #20

What was your original face before your mother and father were born. Neither birth, nor death. Shall we contemplate the energy conservation theory and ask what that means about a before and after? Now what if space time is proven to be wrong and that the speed of light is proven wrong? Some theories are proving this to be so.

This video is brilliant thank you
