According to the search results, the death toll in the Kenyan starvation cult case has exceeded 300, with hundreds still missing. The Good News International Church, a Christian cult whose followers believed they would go to heaven if they starved themselves, is linked to the deaths. The cult's leader, Paul Mackenzie, was arrested following a tip-off that suggested the existence of shallow graves containing the bodies of at least 31 of his followers. The police have recovered 58 bodies from mass graves in the Shakahola forest in eastern Kenya, and the death toll has been rising steadily over the past......

After months of searching, police in Kenya are still recovering bodies of members of a starvation cult who died near Malindi. Investigators have already found more than 400 victims, and fear there could be hundreds more. Many of those already recovered from the ground were children.
