3 months agoI had an NDE back in 1996. Jesus told me, "Just imagine your name not written in the book of life." Then I dropped into hell, and this place was where Jesus was after He died on the cross. This place felt like this is especially for any self-righteous person. Then I was at the great white throne. I remember watching Lucyfer get kicked out of heaven, and I told God that I felt sorry for him, and God said that I could follow him, and I said that I didn't feel that bad for him. So, from the beginning of time to the great white throne (everyone gets judged). The demons and Lucyfer was not there with us humans because they got judged after Lucyfer was put in bottomless pit for a thousand years. Then he got judged by being thrown into the lake of fire. You know about the darkest dark are for certain ones? Well, our Creator will make them blind for all eternity. (For anyone who enjoys other peoples pain, they will be blind for all eternity). This is the short version.

3 months agoThe Parable Of The Ten Virgins
It was a custom among the Jews for the bridegroom to come at night to the bride’s house, where her bridesmaids attended her. When the bridegroom’s approach was announced, these maidens went out with lamps to light his way into the house for the celebration.
In this parable the virgins represent members of the Church, and the bridegroom represents Christ. The Lord explained to Joseph Smith that the wise virgins are those who “have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived” (D&C 45:57).
Doctrine and Covenants
45:57 For they that are wise and have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived—verily I say unto you, they shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire, but shall abide the day.
Bridegroom
In the Bible, the image of a wedding is used to portray the coming of the Lord (see Isaiah 62:5; Matthew 22:1–14). Jewish weddings included the announcement of the bridegroom’s coming to the bride’s house. The weddings usually began in the evening, with the lamps lit at dusk. So midnight was later than the ten virgins would have expected the bridegroom—and the announcement came suddenly.
We do not know the timing of Christ’s Second Coming, but we should prepare for it as though it could come at any time—whether soon or late.
Vessels
The vessels in the parable were containers for storing extra oil. Being wise means being prepared for the unexpected with an extra measure of faith, testimony, and the Spirit in our lives. Sometimes we grow complacent, thinking we have enough to get by. But following the Savior means more than just getting by. It means always striving to draw closer to Him, preparing for those times when our patience, faith, and testimony will be tried.
Lamps
The oil lamps used by the Jews in Jesus’s day are called Herodian lamps, after King Herod. These lamps enabled people to carry light wherever they went. In the same way, we are to carry the light of the gospel with us (see Matthew 5:14–16).
Matthew 5:14-15
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Oil
The oil in the parable represents our faith and testimony, our purity and dedication, our good works, and our keeping of covenants—all of the ways in which we have “taken the Holy Spirit for [our] guide” (D&C 45:57).
The wise virgins could not share their oil with the foolish virgins because “the oil of spiritual preparedness cannot be shared” (Marvin J. Ashton, “A Time of Urgency,” Ensign, May 1974, 36).
“Attendance at sacrament meetings adds oil to our lamps, drop by drop over the years. Fasting, family prayer, home teaching, control of bodily appetites, preaching the gospel, studying the scriptures—each act of dedication and obedience is a drop added to our store. Deeds of kindness, payment of offerings and tithes, chaste thoughts and actions, marriage in the covenant for eternity—these, too, contribute importantly to the oil with which we can at midnight refuel our exhausted lamps.”
President Spencer W. Kimball (1895–1985), Faith Precedes the Miracle (1972), 256.
CHAPTER 25
Jesus gives the parables of the ten virgins, the talents, and the sheep and the goats.
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
Whom do the ten virgins represent? (Matthew 25:1.) Whom does the bridegroom represent? (Jesus Christ.)
Why were five of the virgins referred to as foolish? (Matthew 25:3.) Why were five referred to as wise? (Matthew 25:4.)
What happened when the bridegroom came? (Matthew 25:6–8.) Why do you think the five foolish virgins were so unprepared? How do you think we can be prepared when Jesus comes again?
Why do you think the five wise virgins did not share their oil? (Matthew 25:9.) Why couldn’t they have given some of their oil to the others? Explain that the shape of Jewish lamps, outside lips rounded inward, made it almost impossible for someone to pour oil from one lamp to another (see the illustration at the end of the lesson). In the parable, the oil in the wise virgins’ lamps represents their righteous living and obedience. We each fill our own lamp, which represents our own life, with our obedience and righteousness. Heavenly Father’s blessings to us for our righteous actions cannot be given to the disobedient.
What happened to the five who were not prepared? (Matthew 25:10–12.) What happened to the five who were prepared? Why is it important for us to prepare now for the Second Coming? How can we fill our lamps with oil?
Elder Bruce R. McConkie: “As individuals, we prepare to meet our God by keeping his commandments and living his laws. … The gospel in its everlasting fulness, restored as it has been in these last days, is here to prepare a people for the second coming of the Son of Man” (The Millennial Messiah, p. 572).
What will it be like when Jesus Christ returns? (D&C 45:56–57; 63:53–54.) What blessings are in store for those who are spiritually prepared? (D&C 38:30.)
Doctrine & Covenants 45:56-57 56 And at that day, when I shall come in my glory, shall the parable be fulfilled which I spake concerning the ten virgins.
57 For they that are wise and have received the truth, and have taken the Holy Spirit for their guide, and have not been deceived—verily I say unto you, they shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire, but shall abide the day.
Doctrine & Covenants 63:54-54 53 These things are the things that ye must look for; and, speaking after the manner of the Lord, they are now nigh at hand, and in a time to come, even in the day of the coming of the Son of Man.
54 And until that hour there will be foolish virgins among the wise; and at that hour cometh an entire separation of the righteous and the wicked; and in that day will I send mine angels to pluck out the wicked and cast them into unquenchable fire.
Doctrine & Covenants 38:30 I tell you these things because of your prayers; wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth; but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear.

3 months agoBELIEVE LIKE A CHILD
Is it perhaps your desire to enter the kingdom of heaven? Do you wish you had certainty about it? Here is what the Lord Jesus had to say about it:
"Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein." Luke 18:17.
What did Jesus mean by these words? Notice that Jesus said, "receive" the kingdom; He did not say "work for" or "earn" the kingdom. How then can we be sure to receive the kingdom of God as a little child and truly enter therein?
To know what Jesus meant we have to understand how a little child receives, since this is what Jesus requires of anyone who wishes to enter the kingdom of God. Have you ever noticed how a little child receives things, let's say from his parents or grandparents? Think about it for a while. By observation we know that little children receive without any inclination that they ought to EARN or DESERVE what is given to them. It does not occur to them that they should first become worthy or deserving. It is clear that little children always receive in humility and without reservations.
Little children truly know how to receive a gift. They display an absence of pride and self-sufficiency; they simply receive without works and without merit. They do not feel that they first have to earn or deserve what is given to them. They do not measure themselves by their own performance and try to judge whether they should be considered worthy of the gift. They do not think to bring the question of their own merits or goodness into the equation.
This, dear friend, is the simple point that Jesus was making. He is saying that this is the way that we need to receive the greatest gift that anyone can ever receive — the gift of eternal life in His kingdom.
The reason we need to receive it as a little child is because, try as we may, we can never earn or deserve it through our own merits, goodness or performance. God Almighty is holy and righteous and cannot look upon sin; His standard is perfection. Even if we have failed only once in our lifetime to fulfill even the smallest commandment in the law of God, we fall short of that perfection. The Bible states that:
"All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
We all have failed to keep God's moral law, the 10 commandments perfectly; we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We can never change our imperfection and make ourselves acceptable to God by trying to be good.
Isaiah 64:6 says:
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
God is holy and righteous and therefore has to punish sin. The Bible also reveals that God is love and does not want anyone to be damned to an eternity in hell. So the Creator Himself chose to become flesh and to pay the penalty for our sin, which is death.
John 3:16-18 states:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
By simply trusting wholeheartedly in the finished work of Jesus, who lived a perfect and sinless life and died for our sin on the cross, and by receiving this free gift of the forgiveness of sin and eternal life by His grace, anyone, regardless of what terrible sins they may have committed, can be be born again by the Spirit of God and receive the gift of eternal life.
This is how good God is: He was willing to take the punishment for our sin upon Himself. He is unlike anything that we will ever encounter in this dark world that has been marred by man's rebellion and sin and Satan's subsequent evil dominion.
God created mankind with a free will to choose for themselves what they will and will not believe, and what they will and will not receive. He will never force His love and gifts on anyone. He will never force anyone to have a relationship with Him. In His mercy and love He offers it but still allows everyone to choose to receive it, or not to receive it. The Bible says that God is love. He is a God of mercy and grace. Mercy means that we do not get the judgment, condemnation and punishment that we deserve. Grace means that we get all the good from God that we do not deserve. God is both — He is both merciful and gracious.
Our human pride is what leads us to think that we somehow have to earn or deserve God's favour and gifts through our own performance, good conduct and meritorious deeds. But that is deception. We tend to reason that we first have to become 'good enough' before God would forgive us and accept us and allow us entrance into His kingdom. We don't realise that God requires perfection. So we focus on ourselves instead of on what Jesus has done for us through His perfect, finished work on the cross and the complete payment He has made for all our sins, past, present and future, through His blood sacrifice.
To receive what Jesus did for us requires humility and faith, both of which is found in abundance in a little child.
Thinking that we ought to merit the things of God will actually prevent us from receiving them, for it is contrary to the way a little child receives. It CANNOT be earned by us. It was earned on our behalf by what Jesus Christ has done for us and we just have to receive it as a gift. If indeed we could earn it then it would mean that we would have opportunity to boast in ourselves. Yet, our imperfect performance can never satisfy God's standard of perfection.
The only way that we can receive eternal life in the kingdom of God is to receive it from Him as a free gift. It is not available to us in any other way. We can never earn the things of God.
The Bible makes it very clear:
"For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Having said all this we can see how our human pride can be a major hindrance to our receiving from Him, not only the free gift of eternal life and the complete forgiveness of our sins that would secure our entrance into the kingdom of God through being born again, but everything else that we need and that He has provided for us by His grace in Christ; things like healing, provision and blessing. God is truly a good, good God. But we can only receive from Him if we are willing to receive as a little child. My earnest prayer is that you do.
It is impossible to have any boldness in our relationship with God apart from total dependence on what Jesus did for us. Only those of us who are righteous by faith in Jesus have boldness, having received His righteousness as a free gift. Only His perfect work on the cross saves us from God's righteous judgement on our sin.
Just believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead on the third day and God will impute the righteousness of Christ to you and make you a new creature in Christ. He that promised is faithful.
P.s.
Titus 3:4-7
"But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Romans 10:9-11,13
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Amen.
Kindly share this message.

3 months agoThere is only one place of safety, one place of salvation, the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ that paid the full penalty for all our sins.
Jesus loves you and He wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him. But that cannot happen unless you are born from above, unless you are born from the Spirit of God.
So first repent. Admit that you have transgressed God's holy laws and that you are a sinful creature, like we all are. Then believe that Jesus is who He says He is: fully God and fully man. He came to earth, was born of a virgin and He lived a perfect and sinless life. Then He shed His precious blood on the cross to pay the penalty for all your sins, your past, present and future sins. For the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness, no matter what you have done! He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
All you have to do is believe that. Believe it by putting one hundred percent of your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, without adding in any of your own good works or being good, because that won’t save you! It has nothing to do with belonging to any church or practicing any religion.
The moment you believe is like a personal encounter in your heart between you and God himself where you tell Him you believe, and that you receive Christ Jesus the Lord, and where you call on His name. For the Scripture says: All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
The moment you believe you are born again, you are saved. You receive the Holy Spirit who will indwell you forever. Because salvation is eternal you can never lose it.
So I hope you believed because the alternative is that you would spend eternity in hell, paying for your sins. And nobody wants that. That is, if you should choose not to believe what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross when He died and shed His precious blood to pay the penalty for all your sins.
The Bible says:
John 3
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Romans 10
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

3 months agoIt is common knowledge from reputable NDE s that there is no hell, no satan, no judgment, no condemnation etc.. There is only the supreme being which is nothing like any God that we have thought up here on Earth. The bible is incorrect and not complete. No surprise… the book was written by human beings a thousand years ago with intelligence equal to a grade school during a time they were chucking spears at one another. We are here temporarily to learn and appreciate Gods realm when we go back to where we are all originally from. EVERYONE goes to Gods realm regardless of their actions here. The penalty to learn is experiencing the pain you cause from that persons souls perspective…..not fun……but not hell as we think.

3 months agoThis experience is normal in some cultures. In fact, it is a required right of passage for Shamans and healers in some cultures. The experience is deliberately induced through psychedelics such as peyote or ayahuasca. They experience being torn apart by demons and then being rebuilt. Death and resurrection. The hero's journey. Nothing to be afraid of.
