As someone who has had out of body experiences as well as "lucid dreams" as they're termed , and was once skeptical, I can tell you now 100% that our consciousness is MORE than brain , or "non-local". I know this because when I left my body I was able to witness things happening that I could later prove accurate. So do not fear. Death is not the end. As for "pre-birth", I do not understand why I have no memory of that , but that will remain a mystery til I die.
