April 5th 2005, I was almost murdered, first I was beaten bloody then I was stabbed four times, once in the head the back that pierced my left lung collapsing it, twice in the stomach, and he used a sword trying to behead me but hit my shoulder leaving my left arm hanging. My two youngest children witnessed the attack and where screaming for help. I was laying on the ground bleeding out very fast, I could hear my children screaming and crying and then everything went black and calm. I felt my soul leaving my body from my chest area right below my chin it came out about six inches and then I felt it go back in. Then I started to feel all the pain and smelling the coppery blood. But for a few seconds I felt peaceful and actually thought that if I'm dying this isn't so bad

except for the most sad I ever felt because I was leaving my children. I was taken by helicopter to a trauma unit was in ICU for five days with a chest tube inserted and unconscious. My chances of survival were about 20%. I woke up the second day

Thanks for posting Leigh. I can relate to both theses NDE's for different reasons. In the 1st one, the man's background demonstrates his interest in this subject & probably helped in him not being too overwhelmed at the time. When he relives his life he says, it was "excruciating' the pain of all he had done. This tallies with my own life review & never forgotten. The presence goes on to say "you are human, it's not possible to do everything right." Later, as he asks questions, about war etc, he was told "everything is as it should be, everything will be fine." I have no doubts of the genuineness of this NDE. But, it will be a challenge to those who live only by scripture. How do they resolve their belief in an interventionist God with the words said, "everything is as it should be, everything will be fine." Of course, some might say, "no, the words were about him." But, were they really? The 2nd NDE also tallys with a personal experience. The man mentions a "platform" that took him upwards. Many years ago, as a child, I had an Out-of-Body-Experience where I saw such a platform. It was made of dark brown polished wood with a central post. It was sited in my Grandmother's hallway. When later, I told her she said, "That's what my husband stood on when he visited me after he died. I pleaded with him to take me with him, but he said he couldn't." He went on to say, "I'm in a lovely place." & went upwards on the platform. Peace and love to all. ❤

There is really no reason to get incredibly ‘worked up’ about every little thing, because the truth is we really aren’t BIG ENOUGH in consciousness to get it ! God is an infinite being ,we are human. I believe the same ‘fight’ that #2 was told to do/ fits for our advice , too.
FIGHT OUR BEST TO DO WHAT IS RIGHTEOUS & GOOD.True to Gods call on our lives.

About the second NDE, 7:11 "If you want to want see Collen and those boys again, you better go straight down and start breathing and start fighting." As if it was his fault or his choice to die! 🙂

About the first NDE, I am not sure "everything will be fine" or "everything is as it should be". Is sin what it should be? Do we not have guidance and direction on how to live? If everything is as it should be, then North Korea is as it should be. Middle school bullies are as they should be. The freak car accident was as it should be (despite those who died or were maimed). Viruses are what they should be. A lot of things are what they should be. And, it is all "fine".

Makes one wonder if lack of faith is what it should be. Should I be writing this? To should, or not to should? That is the fine question.

In the first expereience: "Love and its consequences mean everyhting." Powerful sentence. These NDE's are all poiinting towards that. Maybe we should focus our time here on earth on Love. It was so comforting to hear the talk of being "home" in heaven and how undescribeably wonderful that was.

I really enjoyed listening to both narrated nde's.
For thee experiencer the first one in the beginning seemed challenging to just live. Then him seeing the face of Christ I'm sure was a big welcome to his conscience, and gave him so much joy & love.
The second one… my goodness it almost seemed like he was watching something on stage and he happened to be the main character along with his dad. ( just my perspective).
