I find it hard to believe that Jesus wouldn't tell these nde survivor's to be a part of his Church, the one he founded the Holy Catholic Church.

The 1st mention of ‘purgatory’ in the Scripture comes from 2 Maccabees 2:48 ‘. ‘Thus he made atonement for the dead that they might be ‘freed from sin’.
Many don’t consider Maccabees a book from the bible due to its removal by Martin Luther.
To claim purgatory doesn’t exist because the exact word purgatory is not said in the bible , is a gross mischaracterization of the word of God,.😙
According to the Strong’s concordance, purgatory is ‘a place’ that serves the purpose of purging out sin. The word purgatory means ‘a cleansing place’. The original manuscripts did not contain the words ‘trinity’, incarnation’ and several other words that have come to be associated with early Christianity.
Translations from Aramaic, Hebrew & Greek languages do not contain such words. TRUTH must be fought for @ all costs. If you hear ‘it doesn’t exist, & it’s an important idea-then make EVERY effort possible to find the ‘trail’ that leads back to the truth. God will thank you for being faithful.🙏

Why would snyone believe in purgatory? Was the cross and resurrection insuffient? You paying for your sins superceeds the perfect sacrifice, steonger than the mercy and grace of the I AM?

The Bible does not use the word Purgatory but I think it is a period were you are a wandering spirit waiting for your turn to go to Heaven.

I was raised Catholic but now go to a Christian church. I floated away from the Catholic church but my family showed me that the Catholic church has a lot of solid truth and supernatural evidence that it is indeed the truth. Now I hold both beliefs. Purgatory seems like you are just a floating spirit. You do not suffer there but God deals with you in what wrongs you did in life. You wander around as a spirit living in guilt and depression. Then you go to Heaven when God says you are ready. You don't burn and there is no severe suffering there. That is Hell.

Hmmm! I'm sorry but this teaching was created in the depths of Hell by Satan himself. What better than to make ones believe that they can still get to heaven "eventually" and they can continue to live a life of Sin without the fear of God until there death. All they have to do is be baptized at 6 weeks old or claim there a believer when there a teenager. Don't you think Jesus might of mentioned Purgatory once or twice in one of his sermons 2000 yrs ago..If purgatory was a real thing it would be clear in scripture right along with Heaven and hell…This was the greatest lie the devil created. Purgatory wasn't even mentioned in the Catholic Church until like the year 1500 give or take. So think about that it's only been a thing for like 500 yrs. The devil is a liar. Oh ya I also read in history books that the Catholic Church also taught many years ago that people could buy there loved ones out of Purgatory if they gave enough money to the church. 😮

For me…car accident internal bleeding for over a week but passed away an resuscitated on operating table,"all details long story" but ended up in a coma for four days.. seen many things I'd say unexplainable but when finally woke up, for me it had felt or seemed an still does like about four years had gone an passed, I didn't even know where or who I was for a few moments, yet no amnesia either. I've been a completely different person ever since, purgatory is the only explanation that suits the what I seen….

The first part is about how we are supposed to donate money.

In the second part Jesus arranges an Indian spiritual master for someone; …… really?

In the second one a 5 year old child has an OBE. There's no mention of purgatory.

I don't think I'll continue to watch the video's.

I don't question the NDEs and, as a Catholic, can sympathize with this one.

Just one note: the Church doesn't exist to make one "happy," but to make one HOLY. Happiness may follow, or not. Bu the joy will never leave one.

Interesting notion, "Self-fulfillment"… what is the Self anyway…let alone how does one fulfill something when most people are ignorant of, false sense of pride, or seeking to avoid/cover up?

The idea that one's thinking is standing in the way of "self-fulfillment" is another interesting idea. Just how does thinking obstruct or permit one's achievement towards "self-fulfillment" when one does not know the score board per se. In other words, how can a human find or achieve "self-fulfillment" when one does not have the knowledge or understanding of what fulfills, let alone the pathway in which to gain access to fulfillment?

I would have many questions for Jesus after hearing this. Wonder if I would be brushed off and told to simply "go back" and good luck… The limits and boundaries which are applied to our realm of existence hinder our capability "evolve" or growth when they go unacknowledged or addressed.

First, "my thinking had been limiting my potential." The things Jesus told him telepathically, Spiritual Master and the goal Spiritual Effort, self-fulfillment. From the first NDE, wow. Powerful.
The second NDE, makes me think that school was terrible, they were liable yet they moved his body and didn't call an ambulance. That's terrible.

I'm sorry for the suffering of others. This is all part of the curse. However, we compound the problem by believing in things that are unbiblical. Such as purgatory. This is not from God, but the spirit of this world. When people die, they either die with Christ or without. NO SECOND CHANCES. NO PRE-TRIB.

No one knows what happens after death. Heaven is a myth to assuage mankind's deepest fear which is fear of death. An entire money making industry called organized religion is built on that. After one dies, they go to that crazy random place they always visit in their dreams. The Universe is just random forces. God is a God of Manichaeism in which God dispenses evil as well as good. There are no absolutes so there is no heaven. There is only hell to varying degrees. All people go to purgatory after they die and never heaven. I don't believe that anyone goes to heaven. Even if they did, the novelty would soon wear off and the critical faculty would kick in thus making it a compromised heaven = purgatory.
"Even if God didn't exist, it would be necessary for man to invent him." Voltaire. Same with heaven. It is necessary to invent heaven for the sake of sanity. Heaven is the ideal. The reality may be another thing.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Science has proven lack of oxygen to the brain can causes hallucinations. This isn't evidence of anything just someone describing their hallucinations.
