Lake Minnetonka is big but not big enough to not swim to shore…so he falls out and just stays there instead of swimming up to one of the houses. There is no vacant land on that lake and it's surrounded by homes. He's an extra level of dumb and should not be allowed in another boat alone unsupervised again.

That boat should be new enough to have a factor kill switch. Either way should've had it before he even went out

It’s actually a state law In Minnesota starting this year if you are operating a boat under power you’re supposed to have the tether switch attached to your body in some way…. Do I do it ? No but I’m careful in my boat not to make a dumb decision

Just tie a piece of wire around the spark plug on one end and around the captains neck on the other end. That way if the captain falls off he'll take the ignition source with him

So instead of preaching on how not to fall out of a boat, you're going to help fix it after you fall out of the boat. Rule number 1 for boating, stay in the boat

Most boats come with a kill switch you attach to your wrist and very few use them. I’m guilty myself

Why didn't he swim to shore. 1 hour you just stay in freezing water. Good job to the rescue boat or he'd a died.

Wait? .. I’m pretty sure if people can afford boats they can also afford the kill switch button to put on their boats 🚤, oh I’m pretty sure they can. So wats the go fund me bout.? Raise money so u can go to random civilians who own boats an tell em, “hey can I install a kill switch button on your boat.? Lol I wonder how many ppl would actually denie the offer an tell him we can install the switch our selfs thank you . Lol
