A near-death experience in Ghana?! π±
That was an eventful week in Ghana. Nonetheless, there’s one main thing we learned: trees not only restore landscapes, they also bring back rivers, like the once-depleted Daka river in Yendi, Ghana.
π³ππ³ Together with our partner @treeaid , we’ve planted and regenerated more than 4 million trees in so-called tree buffers, also known as riparian buffers. This way we’re protecting a vital source of water for local communities.
