'Act like you're my mom': 10-year-old boy thwarts woman who tried to lure him away

A 10-year-old boy is being praised for his quick thinking after he says a woman tried to lure him away in Pottstown on Friday.
Sammy Green was walking home after school when a woman started following him on High Street.
“Started walking with him and asking him where his family was, asking where his dad was,” said Sam Green, the boy’s father.
Sammy did not know the woman, but she insisted she knew the child’s family, and said he was supposed to come with her.

2 years agoMy friend was once stalked by a creeper in a store. She remembered her mom’s advice to seek out a group of older women and pretend like she knew them. Sure enough, the group of women she found not only agreed to help her but pretended she was one of their family members. That was enough to convince Mr. Creeper to leave her alone.

2 years agowhen i was a child and got lost in a grocery store looking for my mom, this old woman tried to lure me out the grocery store asking me to come with her. i wonder now what could of happened to me if i had followed her. i don’t know what her intentions were but i can understand why they blurred out this woman’s face because you guys can’t prove what she wanted to do
