The problem with these NDEs is that they don't square with the Bible and, in fact, say/imply that The Lord Jesus was the biggest liar to ever walk the earth.

Apparently, the Lannisters always pay their debts.

No one's ever accused Mark of being bright. When all his anecdotes end with some version of "…and if I wouldn't have blown that $3,000,000 on all those donkeys, I don't know what I would've done. Gosh golly gee, guys. I really screwed up big time on that one. Gotta stop doing that," then you know God looks after children, fools and Farners.

I was so delighted to hear him mention the evil that started December 1913.

With all due respect, I don't buy into any of this story. When someone want to believe something, they can make themselves believe anything. Stories like this are not uncommon, and are explained medically.

Awesome Mark ! As intense as the first Grand Funk Live album,I will think of this next time I listen two it.

the love of money is the root of all evil, 1 Tim. 6:10, he is right you owe a debt you cannot pay! but Jesus paid it for us on the cross. but it is up to you to except him and his payment. then tell others,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I can relate to Mark's discussion about what takes place after death. Ever since I can remember, my grandmother would visit my bed and teach me prayer to God before I went to sleep. Quick history, My Grandmother had to leave the Baltic States when the Soviets took over, killed a lot of people during WWII and she lost her husband, but brought my mom and uncle to displaced person camps in Dresden, Germany during the fire-bombings…my Dad's family too. Throughout my life, Gramdma always told me that of all of her grandchildren (six total) I would be the one who would be closest to God.
Fast forward to 2012 when she was bed-ridden, could barely move and barely speak whenever she called me on the phone. One night while I was sleeping, I dreamt that I was at an outdoor train station in Eastern Europe. I carry a lot of photography gear whenever I travel, and was kneeling as I sorted through my backpack. I heard my grandmother sing my name in the most beautiful angelic voice! I stood up and turned around and saw her walk up to me. Grandma looked so much younger, vibrant and so beautiful! She was always in pain and limped slowly, was hefty, but now she was athletic, vibrant and in hip clothing. Her physique was so slender, sculpted and beautiful and she looked so happy! We hugged and then as we let go she said, "I have to go now. But I wanted to see you one last time before I go." I watched her walk from the train platform and walk away long side the railroad tracks, until I couldn't see her anymore. Then I awoke from the dream with the most incredible feeling of love from the Holy Spirit crossing through me. 🙂 ! I have other experiences as incredible as this, but Mark and I have experienced how something so beautiful awaits us as long as we don't do horrible things like use drugs, use people, live a free-style uncaring lifestyle, a lifestyle that worships the flesh, etc.

God came here as a man and gave himself for our sins thereby taking back the keys of hell and death and when you simply trust and believe what he did for you then you have the free gift of eternal life.

DMT "The Spirit Molecule". It is said that this chemical is released naturally at death or near death. Of course there are those who take DMT illegally as well. It is also used in some religious or occult ceremonies and some experimental settings. What Mark is describing sounds very close to the side effects.

  43. #43

    Right on….
