This comes after South Africa will shift to the Direct Hajj Model via the Nusuk platform. From 2025, pilgrims must register online, with the country’s quota reduced to 1,140.
SAHUC says the new system replaces the long-standing waiting list, meaning applications will now be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
