As a Ghanaian, these stories are very familiar. I know it seems far fetched, but there’s a reason why we are furious with prayer in Africa.

God bless you Pastor for this series. It’s saving a lot of lives.

Afrikan people have to free themselves from the RELIGION of their European colonizers to be Free. Islam and the European Brand of CHRISTIANITY have done a lot of harm to black people.

  7. #7

The UNKNOWABLE (Creator) DID NOT create any RELIGION including Christianity. All religions are created by people. Black/Afrikan people need to separate themselves from the "european brand of christianity that was forced on them by their european colonizers. This EUROPEAN BRAND OF CHRISTIANITY is based on the religious belief system of ancient Greek & Rome and the various doctrines that were formulated at the various ecunemical councils that were held in Europe. This religion CANNOT liberate black people because it has been used as a tool for INDOCTRINATING & deceiving millions of people with FALSE DOCTRINES.
Another MAJOR problem with Christianity is that practitioners of Christianity have been told that the Bible is the infallible Word of the Creator and this is NOT true.. The Christian Bible was created by men. and was compiled from the literary works of different writers. No infallible Creators would produce a Bible which contains errors, contradictions, mistranslations and forgeries.

Adding to Abraham leaving his father's house. Some people may say they are father less, but that is why we get to say God is our Father. The right kind of Father and heritage we should want to carry on.

As a Christian you are from Heaven and you came to Earth through a family in a certain place but As Christian your lineage in in Christ according to the scripture in Revelation 5:9.

“And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”

I remember how cultures killed ALBINO in Africa
Married Women who were suspected to have cheated on their polygamous husbands were killed or excommunicated.
A wife who did not have a son inherited “ Nothing “.
A Widow and her children will be thrown out of their home because she widow refuses to marry her deceased husband’s brother.
Wonder and children will work on the family plantation but only the man got their paycheck and he could choose to spend the money with his favorite wife or “mistress.
The wives and servants will be buried with the deceased king.
When parents sacrifice children and spouses sacrifice spouses for money or riches.

I watched it yesterday and I'm watching it again today and now I'm fully understand that Christianity is not a white man's religion I wouldn't even associate myself with Christianity I was saying that I was non-denominational and that I believe in God but I'm not Christian Thank you for this video❤🙏🏽

  23. #23

THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! This video gave me confirmation.😊

  24. #24

Thank you for saying Satan has a unique agenda against black people.

  25. #25

As a Black South African, I grew up in a family that followed african spirituality and I remember many activities that I myself participated in, led by 3rd parties claiming to be traditional practitioners some involving blood like ukugcaba. Things I look at now and I think to myself how reckless!!!! As an adult I am a staunch Christian, an uncompromising Christian, I have made it clear that I will not participate in any of such traditions and if its not something like a funeral, I do not attend. I know that I will gladly walk away from family if it came to that but thankfully for now we respect each other but thats cos I have a strong and stubborn character therefore I have no shyness or doubt when I say to them, this is against my walk with Christ I will not participate.

SIDE NOTE: I have always felt that God limited what we can see, hear and feel as humans and did not reveal all to us, that is why he is the all knowing, Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence and we're not. Now due to this short-sightedness that we have as humans, we do not have the ability to operate in the bigger spiritual world where our "ancestors" and all these other spirits operate. Meaning that if a mere human were to open the door to the spiritual land e.g. to consult ancestors, that same human does not have the ability to see what else or other spirits actually comes through that door hence God then forbade it. So the problem is not that your ancestor's spirit is bad, the problem is that you do not see what comes through when you open that door and the people who claim to have that ability most often cannot be trusted for different reasons. So channel everything through God, whether you miss a loved one that passed etc, channel it through God.

First of all, the Yoruba are not a tribe.

Secondly Ifá is NOT religion, neither a Philosophy, neither a cult. But is West-African indigenous culture.

Thirdly you as a Christian thus have not been initiated into the mysteries of Òrìṣà (African spirituality) so you have absolutely no idea what African spirituality actually really is. Words like "high priestess" etc.. Or such titles DO NOT EXIST.

Ifá and Òrìṣà spirituality follows a logic too. And it's not what you think it is.

Connecting with your roots and ancestors has no need for religion what so ever

No need for all that. Ancestor reverence is Not religion.

Then for the rest of this video you are just fantasizing and making shit up as you go along making all sort of assumptions about things you don't understand.

    Yuck How ugly

    I would say: BAD CHRISTIAN

  27. #27

54:56 ….that makes so much sense. It sounds like when them people got to Africa, the Africans taught them what they were doing and it backfired because they used it against them and thats how they were able to be enslaved and everything was stolen. Dang!

  28. #28

I know i'm late to the video….do y'all pray in Jesus name? something about the "in Jesus name" part has been bothering me and I honestly don't know why……🤔

  29. #29

Thank you so much for this series it is appreciated.

  30. #30

Thank you, Stephanie, for teaching on this. I feel seen, heard and vindicated – friends and family have called me crazy for sharing the weirdest things I've seen. Even Pastors blocked and avoided me for sharing 😅 Many didn't know what to do with the information despite being Christian leaders. But really thankful that we have the Holy Spirit – our teacher and helper. Ignorance of these things (even by Christians) has destroyed so many people. May more people understand their roots and the ancestral things that want to steal, kill and destroy. That knowledge and partnering with God's Word and Spirit to break out is the only way to freedom. So glad your friend lived 💚

  31. #31

    Good teaching

If i were you Ms. Stephanie, I would turn off my comments. You are giving and allowing too many voices in. Let the unbelievers go speak on their platform. They don't need to be able to come on here and confuse the people that are trying to find/learn Jesus.

People come and read the comments, which allows them to get distracted by Satan. We know God&Jesus is real, but others still haven't found out for themselves.
Let them not get two different info from here.

  33. #33

Let me guess…your hair is natural as well.

  34. #34

Not an untrue word was spoken. So much truth I feel like I'm on fire listening to you

  35. #35

I want to chime in about Mma Mary Slessor. I am from the area that was known as Itu local govt(back in the day),and is now in Akwa Ibom State. My father told about his 2 cousins who were saved from being killed by Mma Slessor, and who named them Matthew and Mark. She was highly esteemed in our village.

  36. #36

My sister, i do not agree with you. An African will always be African. Why severe your roots? You're misleading us my dear

  37. #37

This message right here is fire 🔥 🔥 🔥

  38. #38

Smh. 😂 Aboru Aboye… isese lagba.

  39. #39

I like Pastor Stephanie. However her teaching on this is misinformed. The Bible took place in Africa. The maps that we look at today were drawn way after Biblical times and are not factual. Also the many rituals and ceremonies that Israelites, including Jesus, partook in would be considered pagan by Christian standards. And who came up with the term Christian? Not Jesus the Christ.

  40. #40

In Acts 13:1, one of the early church leaders, Simeon was a black man obviously from Africa, the bible does not tell us what country and another, Lucius was from North Africa. This was all before colonialism and the transatlantic slave trade. Remeber all the early believers lived as one and there was no discrimination. At some point Christianity became whitewashed.

  41. #41

    Amen. God bless you P.Stephanie

  42. #42

This makes me think about how Hispanic cultures that are going back to their “roots” believe this as well going back to idols that our ancestors worshipped because they never truly had an encounter with Jesus Christ

  43. #43

I feel very sorry for these new age religious ppl, they've probably never experienced Jesus for themselves, just fall for anything took the bait of the deception

  44. #44

I have witnessed the idolatry in Christianity. They have’s pumped a white Yeshua for centuries when in fact that’s a lie. Michelangelo’ cousin is who that pic is not Jesus
There was no “j” in the original Hebrew language. Please study to show thyself approved.
Church members idolize their pastors all the time. The church is full of spiritual manipulations as well. I’m a witness and have seen hypocrisy to the fullest extent.

  45. #45

Isn’t it interesting that all Christian concepts were taken from the temples and pyramids in Egypt.
I’m so grateful for all the African bookstores that taught me the truths about our African ancestors.
I went to Curran schools my entire life. Those Christians taught always that Africans were uncivilized dirty, animalistic. They never wanted us to know or love the beauty the diversity of our melanated selves.

I hear you but isn’t it so interesting that the colonizers added the African deity “Esu” inside Jesus
