I literally cannot stop watching these videos. It’s been about a month now I watch at least probably like five a week when I tell you I have felt whatever all these videos are saying from the beginning even before watching it and then just watching these videos just makes everything so much more real. Followers begin using the leader’s approval
to regulate anxiety, shame, and self-worth.
Emotional stability becomes externally sourced.
This is how autonomy collapses without force.
Ambiguity works
because it forces followers to do interpretive labor.
They fill in meaning themselves,
which creates personal investment.
When people generate meaning internally,
they defend it harder
than if it were imposed.
Followers adopt the leader’s standards as their own identity compass.
Policing others becomes self-protection.
Enforcing group rules proves loyalty
and secures belonging.
Emotional restraint itself
can function as a dominance strategy.
