Consciousness is soul the one that's beyond matter and time, that's the true self , the awareness behind everything.
I am aware I have a consciousness at a particular moment but no evidence that the consciousness is the same as any previous moment. All previous consciousness or awareness I may have had have gone. The only evidence I will have tomorrow when I awake that I am me is my memories. The moment of consciousness I will have tomorrow when I awake will not be the one I have at this moment.
Time
There has to be an observer. The brain is just the hardware. Either way part of consciousness is partly a reaction.
Particles and smaller objects are just Ideas of the Consciousness that come from us.
Theres nothing outside consciousness, all matter is an idea of consciousness.

Consciousness doesn't know thoughts/feelings/emotions. All created through the mind by humans themselves.
It’s called an emergent property. The same way H2O molecules themselves are not wet, when they come together they create “wetness” as an emergent property. This is actually quite exciting to think about as it means our consciousness may be more fluid than we thought.
