Unfortunately, I cannot escape the suspicion that this story is entirely invented. That said, it's probably not that far off the mark in describing what the afterlife world is really like, as there are numerous sources of this kind to go by. We also know from the research by people like Ian Stevenson and Jim B. Tucker, among others, that the afterlife certainly does exist.
A problem is that – especially thinking about the description of souls in the "2nd Sphere" – it's a good rendering of the afterlife worlds for people who lived maybe 40 or 50 years ago, and the challenges in earthly life that they met. Consider, for instance, the simple fact that today maybe a third or more of the young native male population in the West are living as incels, and if not entirely involuntary celibate, at least with limited real agency in life and huge amounts of frustration. What becomes of them, in what spheres do they end up and why? A book like this doesn't say.
Or in my own case, I'm 55 this year, and live in a world that increasingly lacks beauty, human connection and physical intimacy. In fact, I've always been alone and had my life controlled by others the whole time, recently by the need to care for aging parents. If it wasn't for my duty towards my old mother, I would have finished this existence by now.
So consequently, I'd like for example to learn more about the opportunities to make love on the other side, and – it's a personal thing – the wherewithals of transforming from male to female. But again, books like these never really go to such places, probably thinking it's beneath them. Nevermind if we are talking fundamental human drives and needs here. If it's too wicked and sinful, or something, you won't find it here. And that's a reason I doubt accounts like these. They offer a sanitized version of human life, especially of the erotic, its dreams and motivations, prefering to remain in the safety of an exterior surface level.
