I don’t qualify to evaluate his experience, but I’ll say that his comments on pride vs humility have asserted in me a greater desire to search within myself and commit daily to humility, patience and compassion. I suspect that my feelings of separateness and sometimes rejection from others are due to my pride (which I believe can come from childhood trauma).

It sounds like he graduated at the top of his medical field of First Responders and probably has other degrees in the medical field. Question I have is how come he was upside down. I have never heard of a medic or first responder doing that. It sounds like after his awful Life review being most probably a gang member it was necessary for him to come back and make the wrong right again. No one wants to experience hell especially after you got to see the light of Christ. We do have the capability of healing ourselves but it takes time and a lot of needed knowledge for most of us. Unless he received the gift of healing, this is a promise from the Lord that he would heal our mind's body and spirit if we choose to do so. So I'm not going to judge what he said or left out of the conversation. I take what I need and leave the rest. I know our mines are the most powerful things God blessed us with. It has the ability to send us to hell or send us to heaven through our education or what others do to us with me unkind words. A lot of people choose to be angry because of the past they are still dragging around like a bad , be kind and repent oh, so your headache will go away. It doesn't take Pharmaceuticals to do that. I think I would invite all those who choose to look up The Book of Romans chapter 8 and decide for yourself. You will most probably have to read it several times because there was just way too much information in that chapter for my little pea brain to understand exactly what it was talking about. Maybe the whole book of Romans and if you're not touch by the spirit of the Lord then that's too bad. No it doesn't talk about death but the other chapters do even the book of Acts will explain a multitude of things.

Man, this person is pretty sad, he discounts millions of people's accounts of NDEs, even this channel's owner. He didn't learn anything. He had a similar experience, but his attitude thinking he "knows" everything about the reason for each person's experience during their NDEs. Even doctors studying this are not sure but every thing he sighted have been proven wrong by scientists yet he is somehow all knowing.

Has he not seen the many accounts where people know things that happened outside of where the persons body was yet they know conversations, see items on outside ledges, can described the people and procedures done to them in detail down to the clothing and hairstyles yet they were never awake and eyes never open?

How did this person get like this. He has had an out of body experience but doesn't recognize it. I hope his horrible condescending attitude changes as he reads more about NDEs. God still loves him but surely wants him to be less judgemental.

Near death experiences and out of body experiences are just the dying brain going haywire which causes hallucinations which manifest as near death experiences or out of body experiences. As brain cells start to die these start firing randomly, kind of a last gasp. It is the final surge in brain activity as the brain is trying to survive for as long as it can after the heart has stopped, it is sort of a survival technique when the brain is under extreme stress or crisis. That is why it feels like a person is floating above the body a feeling of depersonalisation as the brain is dying because it helps the brain cope with the most traumatic time of it's life. It is fighting for it's life. Near death experiences and out of body experiences are nothing more than the brain going haywire. When the left hemisphere of the brain is more stimulated people have a sense of flying and when the right hemisphere of the brain is more stimulated people have a sense of communicating with spirits. There is no way of who you were before you were before you died to persist after the chemical reactions in your body and brain came to an end. There is no evidence that your consciousness or soul is conserved in any way, the electrical energy of your brain will simply cease to be and will change form to a higher entropy or more disordered form of energy namely heat. If you believe that quantum field theory is correct and you want to believe in life after death, there has to be some way for the information about your immortal soul to be carried outside your body and to hold together in a coherent way and land in some organism at some other time, there is no way, there are no particles in which you soul could be made and there no interactions that can carry that information away. We don't need to worry about this question, we know the answer, knowing some of fundamental rules by which nature behaves has implications for the larger picture. Consciousness is just a series of atoms and electrons which essentially gives us our minds. Your soul is just a certain configuration of atoms and electrons interacting with each other via the 4 fundamental forces of nature and after you die these atoms and electrons get rearranged and you will simply cease to exist. After you die your consciousness and you soul will cease to exist. There is absolutely no evidence that your consciousness or your soul lives on after you die. Sure there are people who have experienced out of body experiences and seen a bright light when they were almost dead but all such experiences can be explained with the way our brains work and the chemistry of our brains when it is under extreme stress or deprived of nutrience and the like. If there are any other forces, particles, fields etc that we have not yet discovered yet, they can't affect the atoms in your brain because either they are so weak that they would have no effect on what the atoms are doing or we would of already found them in experiments. Those are the only 2 options. There is therefore no room for the information that is you to persist after you die.

Interesting, but confusing! His experience contrary to most having NDEs. He cant say hes RIGHT and all others are WRONG. Eban Alexander, brain surgeon had an experience contrary to his. Both may be valid but Eban's is similar to many! But we'll only know personally when we pass on. So im not saying he's right, but not saying he's wrong either. Once your heart stops, your brain stem stops. All autonomic nervous system functions ceases with it. Meaning you don’t feel, breath, process urine in kidneys, hold sphincter muscles closed, etc. Therefore, you would not feel your blood pooling to your back or urinating yourself even though you may still have upper level brain functions still occurring (which we don’t know for sure since surface level EEGs do not pickup activity deeper in the brain).

However, if an NDE were an aspect of the physical brain still operating somewhere deep inside after the heart has stopped, it still does not explain the similarities that vast numbers of experiencers claim (i.e. a tunnel or dark void, meeting other beings or family, the life review, the feeling of peace and calmness, the light, etc.) even if, say, you take DMT, everyone still has a different experience whose only similarity includes seeing geometric shapes and maybe very strange beings. Moreover, that is all happening while your brain still HAS an active EEG and is being oxygenated normally through blood flow and respiration.

The heart stopping does not equate actual death however. But the state of being you go into when the heart stops (as stated above) does not allow for complex, realistic, life altering experiences. Hypoxia, if anything, produces garbled function from a brain starved of oxygen. Hence why people who hallucinate from hypoxia usually have strange but simple hallucinations such as hearing voices say meaningless words or seeing strange lights or flashes of lights. With hypoxia you never get people all going to beautiful lush gardens filled with spirit beings and deceased family members while having a coherent spiritual experience so deep and rich that it changes them profoundly afterwards and removes the core fear of death entirely.
