3 years agoI am of the thinking that OBE's & NDE's, are very similar, if not exactly the same. I believe that in both experiences, the astral plain, is the first place we enter. In a NDE or in death, it is a place that we go in order to get used to our new condition. In the astral at death, we stay around familiar places and faces..until we adjust.

3 years agoSomething similar happened to me a few years ago. I wanted to ride my bike along a long stretch of two lane highway in Florida but some tiny voice inside of me said, "Don't go." It was not an actual voice but I decided not to take that bicycle trip. I can only imagine what may have happened. I used to ride that same route many times and have seen cars and trucks swerving into the bike lane immediately after passing me so I can only imagine what may have been in store for me had I gone on that ride. Glad I listened to that voice.

3 years agoLike the commenter below, I also years ago had a premonition while with a female friend on my Lambretta motor scooter; I swapped with her to allow her to drive -at that point I had, like Anton, an authoritative 'No!' in my case it was don't keep going along this road.' felt, impossible to describe, around the heart area of the torso. My very left-brained friend laughed, when I told her of the warning, saying, 'Don't be ridiculous!' So I clambered on to the rear pillion seat. A short time after, a car collided with us. I was unscathed, but my friend incurred a serious leg injury.
However, that incident made me more open to spiritual experiences, along with others, including an experience of my mother when she died. I also wrote an introductory and critical bibliographical essay on near death experiences, as a university undergraduate student. My daughter, too, had a drowning near death experience at age three. 3 years agoAnton had a very interesting approach after his accident and experiences. His prior knowledge of meditative and hypnotic states gave him a wider perspective and he used these states in his recovery and exploration of his out of body states. I suspect he also used this to expedite his healing process as well. I can attest and validate the experience of receiving a clear warning of not to proceed in a situation, but just as Anton did, I disregarded it. Resulting in a severe car accident with years of recovery. I ALWAYS listen to my 'intuition' or guidance now! Thank you for your tireless work and efforts in bringing so many wonderfully perceptive and interesting people to enlighten us.
