  1. Why do you have to use dramatic violent imagery to prove your point?

    Even the spiritual search is depicted as a war between the ego where the ego must 'surrender'.

    You are using effort to get into am effortless state.

  2. Can you comment on the following, please? I was in the desireless stillness for long periods and cravings did not come, but work did. Sick relatives, legal obligations, phone calls and emails… I did not desire them at all, but still they came. So is it not also true that the play out of karma (duties, work, etc) continues even without desires?
