  1. Ahh, this reminds me of one of my daydream. Taking references from the fact energy can't be created and only can be transferred, our consciousness still is within those transferred energy. So when we die, we just spread to anywhere, we're simultaneously being processed into a glucose by a plant, cooked to be a wagyu, or be a new part of someone's body. And when we're in their body, we live there as a spectator aspect of them. And it's similar case to those who came before us, some of them is being made into us, spectating us from the depth of ourselves, and once we die we enter that state, to be able to hear and feel them too, like someone joining a train with many other passengers, you might not know what they've been through, but y'all could communicate and also feel the same train ride in the future.

  2. we are both and more we are a body with a mind a mind with a body and a soul with a mind and body it these kinds of questions make me believe even more that god not only created everything but god did it with scientific ways so that we understand his blessings and the scope of his creations

  3. This problem arises due to the combination of the sickening abrahamic religions' dogmatic moral perfectionism and the inept post-enlightenment materialistic anti-nature rationality.

  4. In a physical sense, I am my body. In an ethical sense, I am my mind. Ethics is the application of value judgements to otherwise valueless things. Although the mind may be relatively inconsequential in my physical constitution, it is the part of me that I value the most. So in an ethical sense, it is me.

  5. That one priest is kinda right in my eyes. I like the idea that we are not in fact individuals… but we are all "the one" experiencing and living life through a given genetic "body" and set of life circumstances. We just have this concept of 'individuality/self" because "the one" is filtered through the various capabilities of our body.
