In this episode, Dani Foffa talks to quantum physicist Prof. Dr. Vera Spillner. Vera holds a degree in Theoretical Physics and a PhD in Quantum Philosophy. She is a professor of media studies in Germany and an expert in String Theory and AI. Her research focuses on the parallels between quantum mechanics and NDEs, which we had the chance to discuss in this episode, along with the concepts of timelessness, oneness, consciousness, the nature of reality, and what modern physics may reveal about life, death, and existence itself, so be sure to watch until the end!

What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

Beautiful
I think the life review does serve an evolutionary purpose in that it diverts attention from anxiety at the prospect of death and allows a more tranquil passing
As far as I know, from what quite a few quantum physicists, eastern religions and NDE experiencers agree on, the brain is not only a receiver, but a filter as well. When we are in the physical state, our low-frequency condition does not allow us to understand nor to express in words the actual reality, so the brain creates for us a very simplified reality and this allows us to experience the physical realm without traumas. And this includes also the concept of a linear time, which is actually an illusion that we need in order to live in a physical world.
If there's anybody who really understands painting art what do you make of the Vincenz Hensle's paintings?
Most enlightening and exciting! Thank you.
Consciousness created quantum as a tool to create worlds to experience itself. Every single breath we take is recorded and kept by the collective but not for the purpose of judgement – rather growth. Think of it this way. Music is the language of the cosmos, each one of us his own unique note in a never ending symphony of existence. Everything is connected-quantum physics- meta physics and cosmology – all working together under an unlimited consciousness. We are living on a massive grid of our own creation – a box universe within a box universe – a grid of time, space and possibility. We are living many lives within this structure, and it's all happening at the same time-but human consciousness is unable to grasp this – and that is by design. Roger Penrose is an unbelievable gift to this world.
I appreciate you sharing your impression of Bart Ehrman. A great scholar, but something is missing. You nailed it: joy.
I’ve always believed that consciousness exists in a quantum field. Telepathy and remote viewing can be successfully performed when shielded from the electromagnetic spectrum therefore it has to be utilizing scalar waves or quantum entanglements.
"A human being is a part of the whole… a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness". – Albert Enstein
At the end, she’s talking about the purpose of life as she sees it and it reminds me of a poem. I read for Rumi
13th-century Persian poet, mystic
and it goes :
A chickpea leaps almost over the rim of the pot where it's being boiled.
"Why are you doing this to me?"
The cook knocks him down with the ladle.
"Don't you try to jump out. You think I'm torturing you. I'm giving you flavor,
so you can mix with spices and rice and be the lovely vitality of a human being.
Remember when you drank rain in the garden. That was for this."
Grace first. Sexual pleasure, then a boiling new life begins, and the Friend has something good to eat.
Eventually the chickpea will say to the cook, "Boil me some more. Hit me with the skimming spoon. I can't do this by myself.
I'm like an elephant that dreams of gardens back in Hindustan and doesn't pay attention to his driver. You're my cook, my driver, my way into existence. I love your cooking."
The cook says,
"I was once like you, fresh from the ground. Then I boiled in time, and boiled in the body, two fierce boilings.
My animal soul grew powerful. I controlled it with practices, and boiled some more, and boiled once beyond that, and became your teacher."
Love your presentation! ❤

My big Theory of Everything (TOE)
THAT'S THE PHYSICIST WHO FIGURED IT OUT
Spot on x
The way I understand time from a scientific standpoint is time only exists when there is cause and effect. You notice time because some things move in specific pre directed patterns towards more entropy, and they move because of whatever is causing them to move, etc. If a broken cup on the ground just gathered itself back up with nothing causing it to, you’d know time and physics on earth was wonky. So in a place where you don’t need cause and effect, you will things to happen, and there’s no impact of what you willed on what others willed, that can only exist outside of time. If it didn’t exist outside of time then what we will would have to cause an effect on others. In heaven or whatever we call where NDEs go, it is completely outside of a causal and temporal space.
I have really wondered about this! Especially because many NDE accounts seem to include elements that are aligned with quantum physics even when they know nothing about the topic
NDE could heal the world. If all the narcissitic elites realised the foundation of the cosmo, maybe our egos n pride could be set aside.
TAT TWAM ASI. ❤❤❤
fascinating! there are different block theories. i'm a believer in the growing block theory, that allows for quantum physics and PSI phenomena. I like Campbell's Theory of Everything idea that we're on this earth to evolve as a species from one lifetime to the next. But if our spirits are evolving, why is the Earth becoming more evil?
This really resonates with me, great to listen in (from Australia).
What a terrific interview. Especially the last things she said, that we at IANDS and in this field of studying NDEs, we work on PEACE. Love that ❤. And Vera is an amazing woman, with a great mind, researching QM and NDEs
She’s pretty.
Time is illusion. It is created by the illusion of movement. When you are thinking of the past or the future, it will always be in the now. all decisions you make are in the now.
Could someone please explain to me, from the block universe theory, that you could observe everything that has already happened, but is there any perspective or vantage point that lets you see into things that have not happened yet? 14:56
What a lovely person!
