As for the worship of ancestors, there's no such in African spirituality, they worship God just not by the same name as christians or any other man-made religion would call their God. They simply acknowledge their ancestors like anyone who would pray to God and then go visit a grave of an ANCESTOR/a passed-on loved one like a granny or whatever and acknowledge them by talking and putting flowers or whatever on the grave. I don't think it's consistent to invoke spirituality only when it supports your position while dismissing African spirituality altogether.
