Excellent scripture to start. This is why I have a slight problem with people who may say they are "spiritual." Based upon their bad attitude and bad behavior, I know what "spirit" they are functioning on. 🤷♀️
As good as God is, people should be excited for worship service the night BEFORE they walk through the building doors on Sunday! No one should have to get people excited to worship God. Who He IS is enough to get excited….

I agreed with the tongue part, but heavily disagree with the dress to worship part. There are scriptures that warn about dressing immodesty, but not about wearing a suit. I would love to know what "all the Scriptures that came to mind" were.

I really like your point about being "spiritual AND religious." I find it strange how people often find those to be in opposition. I think it stems from an attitude of resentment or mistrust towards churches or "organized religion." But it misses the mark because it is a product of human wisdom.

O wow this was very informing,I am in the body of Christ(Southside C.O.C in McKenize, TN.) and I follow Bro.Williams daily in my devotion listening and studying along with my bible.I have learn so much.We always focus on the world which we should,seeking and saving the lost.But Bro.Williams also inform and focus on the behavior of the church.We teach and baptize, and a person goes on their own in the mix and you have some christians that are more mature than others and somehow what Bro. Williams teach on this needs to be taught to new babes and us that have been apart of the body for a while were learning things that we should have been taught years ago.I will defiantly go back and revisit this lesson.

I agree brother that God care how we dress for worship or other wise.we have to remember who’s we’re and who we belong to. We will not go to a wedding or a funeral anyhow.
