“Death is the Experience of Coming Home” | Heidi Prislin’s

In this Thanatos TV production, you’ll see a full, recent interview with Heidi Prislin, a German alternative practitioner specializing in psychotherapy. As a child, she had near- out-of-body experiences, and as an adult, she had a profound near- experience.

The conversation also touches on other spiritual experiences and intuitive premonitions that have repeatedly convinced Heidi Prislin that there is a trustworthy guidance in life.

During her near- experience, she could not comprehend how she could ever have forgotten the true life into which she was now awakening: “ is the experience of coming home,” she says –convinced that there is life after .

  1. Pediatrician Melvin Morse has documented the Near Death experience of young Mark Botts, who was afflicted throughout infancy with tracheomalacia (a floppy windpipe). When Mark was only nine months old, he developed serious bronchiolitis and had to be given an emergency tracheotomy, during which he went into cardiac arrest. It took his doctors over half an hour to successfully resuscitate him, and Mark was never told that his heart had stopped and that he'd been clinically dead during his operation. When Mark was three years old, a Christmas pageant triggered memories of the emergency operation and he started talking to his mother about it. He told her how he'd seen the nurses and doctors bending over him as they tried to wake him up, that he had flown out of the operating room and had seen his grandpa and grandma crying while they held each other, and that Mark had the impression that his grandparents thought he was going to die. His family confirmed that his observations were accurate, and that his grandparents had indeed broken down in tears and held each other because they were convinced that Mark was going to die.

  2. I think near-death experiencers shouldn't "state that death is…the experience of coming home", or "is" anything else, because not every ndes are the same. Some have hellish experiences, or unpleasant if not hellish, or simply don't have that feeling of "being home".

  3. Of all the NDE channels, I most look forward to Thanatos. All their guests are calm and clear, and Werner is wonderful at letting them talk but asking the occasional penetrating question. It's a perfect mix.

  4. Quite different. A spirit guardian? Premonitions v. Fate? Not only nde. OBE, STE. Would like to get an update on her experiences since 2005. I cannot understand about horrible experiences are also good. Some are trauma, anxiety, depression.

  5. I have had 2 OBEs in my life so I fully believe this woman's story. They're the most amazing experiences a person could ever wish to have because they make you realise consciousness is not just confined to the body. And hence when we die our consciousness goes to another frequency or level of existence. Amazing story thanks for posting Thanatos.

  6. would it be possible to put the link to the Original (german) Version in the description? and vice versa for the german translated but original english versions.
    Thanks

  7. The barefoot theme is interesting — in Zen Buddhism (and Jungian analysis) one encounters this symbol as indicating a change of "stance," removal of standpoint one has "outside," and therefore a grounding or coming home. Balancing the very rational mentality of our civilization with something older, perhaps organic, perhaps instinctive, perhaps feeling?

  8. In 1973 the body I was experiencing was pronounced "DEAD On ARRIVAL" at a medical center… More than half an hour passed, then its heart started beating again… During that time I, "LIFE The Real Self", ( NOT The Human entity ) entered "The LIGHT", and have remained in "The LIGHT" to this day… Understand the DIFFRENCE, between the human species and "LIFE The Real Self, an Offspring and Child of "The LIGHT", which is "The LIFE of GOD"…
From "1st Corinthians", chapter 15, verse 50 Quote; Now this I say, brethren, that FLESH and BLOOD CAN NOT inherit "The KINGDOM of GOD"; NEITHER doth CORRUPTION inherit INCORRUPTION. End quote…

From "The Book of The Prophet Jeremiah" in Chapter 17, verse 5, Quote; Thus saith the LORD; CURSED be the man that TRUSTETH in man, and maketh FLESH his arm, and whose heart DEPARTETH from the LORD…

  9. Very interesting interview as always. I have a question. How can I reach Heidi? I tried google search but could not find any information. If she has a website please provide.

  10. I had a very similar premonition of a car crash when I was a child. My dad was in hospital and my mother was bringing us to visit him. I had a huge feeling of dread about the journey and knew we were going to be involved in an accident. We got to the hospital without incident and I felt such a huge sense of relief. But then in the return journey I had double the feeling of dread. I just KNEW we were going to crash. And we did. A woman in front of us indicated that she was turning left and then swung across the road towards the right hand side instead. We drove straight into the side of her car. I remember banging my head on the back of the passenger seat headrest (no seatbelts in the back!) and feeling a huge sense of relief that it was over. Thankfully nobody was seriously injured in the crash. I resonate so much with Heidi's account of the car accident.
