  1. I'm crying now. I'm an empath because that's wonderful how people come together instaed of being against one another. I love this stuff. I've had many spiritual experiences but no near death. ❤

  2. 🤔 I would prefer it if she just talked normally ! 🤣 The Earth is a beautiful place but full of dichotomy! Lots of suffering going on in the world for all creatures great and small. I don't think this essence of all things has much power over the suffering but maybe in a different dimension things are different and much better by the sounds of it . I always say that God is everywhere and nowhere!

  3. Firstly, thank you, Brooke, for sharing your experience with us! Your story telling skills are amazing. Your effervescent personality and gorgeous smile contributed to the most upbeat/uplifting recounting of a NDE I’ve ever heard. Thank you! And thank you to the beautiful Nella for bringing you on to share your experience.

  4. Critical care physician Laurin Bellg has shared the NDE of Chester (not his real name) who was a 74 year old retired foundry worker who'd suffered a heart attack. He was first resuscitated in the Appleton, Wisconsin, hospital ER and then transferred to the ICU where Dr. Bellg worked. He had 3 more cardiac arrests over the next 2 days, despite it having been determined that his coronary arteries were completely clean and that his heart was now working properly. The medical team struggled to stabilize his heart rhythm with medications and a defibrillator. Later, it was discovered that Chester had developed pulmonary fibrosis during his working life. During a follow-up hospital visit, he spontaneously told Dr. Bellg about his NDE.

Dr. Bellg writes: "Chester found he could also perceive thought and hear conversations between loved ones from a great distance away. He recalled a distinct conversation between his wife and daughter that, based on the subject matter, was later corroborated and found to have been held down the hall in the family waiting room, well out of earshot of the ICU. They were discussing an unusual tree just beyond the waiting room window—its odd shape, fringy foliage, and distinct reddish color …he never saw it visually, and there is no way he could have from where he was in the ICU or where he was when he left the hospital. …He heard them discussing the possibility of taking some leaves from the tree to try to identify it. He also heard them laughing about whether it'd be considered theft of hospital property if they just took a small cutting. His wife and daughter were shocked when he recounted the conversation to them. …He'd also heard his 2 year old grandson fussing and crying, then laughing and talking about a green tractor knocking down a wall he had assembled from a set of blocks. His daughter confirmed she'd bought the tractor for him in the hospital gift shop to keep him entertained while they waited and that he'd been using it to knock over blocks. Again, this all took place in the waiting room, far removed from where Chester lay tenuously trying to stay in a normal heart rhythm."

In personal correspondence with researchers, Dr. Bellg added that she'd verified these details with Chester, his wife, and his daughter.

  5. You ladies had me whimpering twice. Brooke, thank you for pointing out that it could be that I am so open to God communicating with me. I never thought of that perspective. Your mention of the "layers" hit me beautifully as I often get caught in material things attracting my attention instead of where it's supposed to be… spiritual. Nella, I was taken by your comment about it often being hard to decipher God's message at times. It makes me feel very lucky that my communications with Him are so straight forward and simple. What a great show and I look forward to more in the future.

  6. I watched the whole thing and I loved the message. However, I’ll admit I struggled to stay engaged at the very beginning because the delivery felt a bit stylized and overly formal. I can understand how the language may just reflect Brooke’s personal level of inner peace and transformation, but it initially registered as a bit of a lecture from above—as in, above the rest of us. I know this wasn’t what was intended, but it was how it landed for me. Still, I was so glad I stayed with it.

Maybe the challenge here is that these accounts are being told over the course of minutes, so we, the viewers, don’t see all that has happened over years of integration. We don’t have a sense of what that integration process actually looked like. I appreciated when Nella shared about her experience with negative beliefs and how challenging they can be to change, let alone identify. Diverting here from the language of NDEs, negative beliefs aren’t born of the cognitive brain. They get installed in the lower regions of the brain—the limbic system and the autonomic nervous system. That "ego" we all attack is just a set of learned behavioral, emotional, thought, and reasoning patterns we develop biologically to help us navigate the world. We don’t necessarily "think" beliefs as much as our biological organism believes them and uses them as an operating manual. Childhood experiences teach us, but the learning isn’t just attached to words. As multi-sensory human beings, we scan, perceive, and create meaning and inner biological activity faster than our conscious thought processes. Using words or terms like "we choose" is actually incorrect and can register as blaming—and I just can’t accept that the bulk of the eight billion of us on the planet are all "choosing" unhelpful patterns.

I do believe it’s our work, and perhaps our soul’s chosen path of learning, to heal these beliefs so that we can remember and reconnect to our Divinity. But I think it is important that greater compassion be offered. We are mammals. We carry that biology and those physical structures in our bodies. We aren’t "giving power" to the layers of our ego. This isn’t a human failing, and it certainly isn’t a choice. And yes, we do struggle. Wars, natural disasters, addiction, incest, physical abuse, having to leave one’s country due to political unrest, poverty, homelessness, and so much more… humans are dealing with big things. Souls are doing a lot of heavy lifting. We’ve evolved into cultures that condition us to think, behave, and operate in ways that are completely contrary to what humans need to thrive. We have also virtually eradicated our innate sense of connection to anything outside of ourselves—our souls, the planet, and each other.

I deeply appreciate the videos in the NDE communities. They’ve really helped bring me needed comfort and solace after my husband passed. I can only imagine how incredibly life-changing it must be to have such an experience—to endure a physical challenge, accident, or injury and find yourself in another realm with ethereal light beings of unlimited wisdom and love, outside of space and time. This, while fascinating and desired, is truly outside of the human paradigm of experience and our earthly human design of flesh, bone, brain, and nervous systems. All of these are subject to absorbing trauma and being physically, cognitively, and emotionally shaped by trauma—literally. Choice requires awareness and that takes time. I’d prefer not to be left feeling like I’ve failed because of it. I obviously have not had an NDE, but I have been doing the work since my late teens (and am now in my late 50s). I’d also like to gently point out that the healing language and recommendations of many NDE accounts seem to only apply to Western, first-world nations and seem completely blind to other cultural experiences.

Again, I do appreciate this NDE. I learn more each time I view them. Thank you to Brooke for sharing your story, and to The Other Side NDE channel for bringing these experiences to the public.🙏🏼

  7. While the experience feels authentic, her delivery doesn’t. not a criticism, feedback. Tell it like you’re talking your bestie, it’s not a performance. it’s a recounting of a truth. No Oscars. Thanks for sharing.. Death, everyone dies and your story helps with the shifting paradigm perspective.
