Can you believe in God—but not follow a religion?
More and more people are answering yes.
In this deeply reflective episode from Curious Axis, we explore a question many are silently asking: Is it possible to have faith without subscribing to organized religion? The answer is more personal—and more powerful—than you might think.
As traditional religious institutions lose influence, millions are turning inward, seeking spiritual connection without rules, rituals, or labels. This video unpacks why so many Americans now identify as “Spiritual But Not Religious”, how they define their relationship with God, and why personal freedom, honesty, and inner truth matter more than belonging to a group.
We discuss:
What it means to believe in God outside religion
Why people are leaving religious institutions
How faith is evolving in modern America
The rise of personal spirituality over public ritual
Whether morality and meaning require religion at all
And what it truly means to walk your own sacred path
This conversation isn’t about rejecting God—it’s about rediscovering faith in a more authentic, liberated, and individual way.
If you’ve ever felt connected to something greater, but distant from organized religion—this video is for you.

I just wanna add some points here. The belief in god without religion is not called "deism", because deism is just another god-belief that proposes an impersonal god that doesn't interact with its creation. That's it.
So, therefore, the god belief without religion is just called "theism" in general. There are plenty of non-religious theists who still believe in a personal god that interacts with its creation.
God wants a relationship with us, not religion..
Religions are hungry things.Thewant your time, attention money, and even your children. Especially your children. They demand buildings, rituals, and empires. God doesn't require any of that.
This is a good point. God and religions (Christianity) are synonymous with one another. Why I don't care to use 'God' to describe my spirituality. Someone will always make the correlation with God & Christianity. That God doesn't exist, so why use it? The world no longer exists in 1025. It is literally a new age.
'I am' a spiritual entity having a human experience. Humanity needs to evolve out of the cave mentality.
Church god wants too much money to have a relationship with him. Every one can have their own God, not the bible god.
YOUR LIMITED IMPERFECT AND UNRELIABLE UNDERSTANDING OF RELIGION based on the DOGMATIC and HIJACKED versions is extremely FLAWED.
TO comprehend the true Definition of RELIGION, if you care about being RIGHT, is to READ "THE SCIENCE of RELIGION" by probably the greatest author of the past hundred years, (POSSIBLY THOUSANDS of YEARS) PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA author of AUTOBIOGRAPHY of a YOGI the Award winning Spiritual Classic that's changed the lives of millions and gaining momentum all over the world.
This book "The Science of Religion" will enlighten you more than you could ever imagine.
It was Paramahansa Yogananda who brought KRIYA YOGA meditation techniques to the WORLD more than ONE HUNDRED YEARS ago.
This the Greatest Scientific method ever given mankind that brings PROOF-EVIDENCE of GOD'S REALITY through DIRECT PERSONAL EXPERIENCE and it works like MATHEMATICS.
I'm a practitioner of KRIYA for FORTY-FIVE YEARS and I challenge you to TRY KRIYA for yourself and you will know that what I say is TRUE.
Can be spiritual without the religious BS more believable
SBNR = deist
