ABOUT IANDS (The International Association for Near-Death Studies)
IANDS is a membership nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to advance global understanding of NDEs and related experiences through research, education, and support. We envision a future in which all people embrace near-death and related experiences as a source of meaning and inspiration for a better world. We believe NDEs can transform an individual’s life, influence the sciences, and embolden society. Today, IANDS engages in far more than research and has members from around the world. What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

  1. Thanks kindly for the heart-felt interview. That we can see and hear with our heart is enough of a miracle. That the Goddess/God is closer than hands & feet is another great miracle.

  2. Jesus Christ has promised me that when I die my soul, the real me, will be with Him in paradise. He has also promised to give me a new body that will never die. He also promises that this present physical reality will be discarded for a new one. It will be a new Earth and Heaven together as one. I believe in Jesus.

  3. Beautiful discussion of his NDE and his spiritual integration. Quick question for Mr Foffa: I love your artwork. It reminds me of Joan Miro. Years ago my family and I visited Barcelona and saw the Miro museum. It deeply impressed me as much as Antonin Gaudi’s many creations.

  4. I watched of 3000 NDE videos. Most are Christian with Jesus as the center of the conversation. I have a folder on my channel containing 725 videos subjecting Hell.
Something about this video has something in common with other non-Jesus testimonies.
It’s hard for me to put my finger on and I feel if I use the wrong words to describe it then my comment will come under attack from the group of people that believe in the afterlife but want absolutely nothing to do with Jesus.
I understand this man is sharing his testimony of a Jesus-less experience.
But it seems like there is a deliberate effort to stay away from talking about Jesus.
As if he is satisfied that he didn’t see Jesus. And I think that’s my point I’m making.
The fact that he didn’t see Jesus brought him no disappointment and brings no questions.
If he was a Christian I would expect he would be disappointed that he didn’t see Jesus.
Which is fine of course. This is where I expect certain people that prefer there is no Jesus to ridicule my comment instead of understanding my point.
Looking for a word any word I write to focus on out of context.
Something a Jesus hater would do.
    Understand my point please.
It appears these types of testimonials of the afterlife that don’t experience Jesus attracts people who dislike Jesus.
And I say that as a conclusion that I reach not by what people say in the comments but rather by what they don’t say.
The intellectual elephant in the room.
And the enjoyment people seem to have listening to an NDE with no Jesus in it.
    Based on my observations.
I am not Chat GPT nor am I AI.
So I cannot decipher my observations 100% as a computer program can.
    It’s simply my general observation.
Again. If a Jesus hater wants to ridicule me that’s as easy as finding a minimum of one person inquiring about Jesus and throwing it in my face.
Glad if you find one, my point is regarding the general consensus of comments not inquiring about his opinion of Christianity since he had the NDE, nor his mentioning if there was disappointment he didn’t see Jesus, or if he was glad he didn’t see Jesus or anything from the faith of Christianity.
    I will say this.
If I were to speak to him direct I would tell him that if his NDE was as real as he believes it is then why does he disregard the majority of NDE’s that explain Jesus is the only way to heaven and testimonies that say HELL is real?
Here is 745 HELL testimonies. And I believe if he hasn’t seen these yet that his learning is far far farrrrr from over.
    745 HELL testimonies
I’ve watched each one several times.
I suggest you all do the same.. KEEP LEARNING

  5. Only Jesus can forgive our sins and only he can give us eternal life if we believe and trust him. Death experience without experiencing Chris to confess to him all the sins is nothing. Only Jesus is the way truth and life in Jesus Name

  6. only Jesus can forgive our sins and only he can give us eternal life if we believe and trust him. Death experience without experiencing Jesus Chris to confess to him all the sins is nothing. Only Jesus is the way truth and life in Jesus Name. Some death experiences are manipulation of the devil or are not real in conclusion.

  7. Watching this video reminds me of what I want to say to my people. I should write it down in advance. Preparing for death is ultimately about living today more fully. I usually forget about it, but seeing videos like this makes me realize how necessary this service is. A place to store my heart. Sevnal is a platform where you can organize your traces in advance for an ending without regrets.

  8. Not to take away from the mystery of the afterlife, but people need to be reminded, it wasnt God who saved this man. It was all the highly trained doctors who were there on the spot. Science and medical knowledge and training saved him. If he was merely left to the mercy of a crowd of praying people , he would have died.

  9. You were conversing with your guide, not God or Jesus. We are not humans with souls; rather, we are souls that incarnate as humans on Earth to acquire knowledge and wisdom. Many of us have been here before, and most will return until we have gained enough knowledge and wisdom to become guides for other souls. I have studied reincarnation for the past 30 years and firmly believe it is a genuine phenomenon. Additionally, I have learned that there is no Hell or Heaven; rather, we are held accountable for our actions and rewarded for our good deeds, often across multiple lifetimes. The three major world religions—Islam, Christianity, and Judaism—oppose the concept of reincarnation. They are man-made doctrines and are not connected to the Holy Spirit.

  10. We are here not to suffer – but to participate in creation of more joy, fun, meaningful life, to evolve as more compassionate caring souls. Sometimes suffering is needed for it, but it is not the goal of course.. Unfortunately there is too much suffering on earth now, definitely.. But we all can gradually change it, remembering more and more of our divine origin, and that we are all involved in an eternal process of existence..

  11. In 1973 the body I was experiencing was pronounced "DEAD On ARRIVAL" at a medical centre… More than half an hour passed, then its heart started beating again… During that time I, "LIFE The Real Self", ( NOT The Human entity ) entered "The LIGHT", and have remained in "The LIGHT" to this day… Understand the DIFFRENCE, between the human species and "LIFE The Real Self, an Offspring and Child of "The LIGHT", which is "The LIFE of GOD"…

  12. Just finished my songs for NDE it'Sbe on spotify music

titel is (I'M GOING HOME 🌌 | Near Death Experience (NDE) — Dark Galactic Trip-Hop + Cosmic Gospel) by "Willis Banger "

as all this has really infused in my mnd latley as my health is not so well I figured i'd make a song about it.

  13. deep, beautiful resonance. thank you Evan, Dani and IANDS.. question: where can I find the Bethesda text Dani reads from – I've googled and found approximations, but am looking for the verbatim source. Again, big gratitude.
