This account of a man is misidentified in the opening as the story of Hannah Stewart. The description says he had a life review, but he didn't. Also, the video clips are distracting and have nothing to do with the story being told.
I write to validate Ash's account from a scientific perspective and to use this opportunity to teach–which is what I was sent back here from the afterlife to do. As an NDE researcher for 32 years and 6-time NDEr, I am dedicated to clearing up a lot of misconceptions about NDEs and explaining why NDErs do not all tell the exact same story. Their stories differ because they returned to their body from different points in the 4-stage crossing over process. They essentially are describing different events. The farthest (so far) on record are the expanded afterlife experiences reported by only 1.7% of NDErs. I have videos describing the 4 stages on my channel @AuthorNanciDanison. My personal experiences and research describe many, many different and exciting events that occur in the expanded afterlife experience. Those include entering into the core of Source/God, learning that Source is a collective phenomenon composed of all of what we call souls, and experiencing that we all collectively ARE God/Source/the Creator of the universe.
According to Knowings I received from Source/God while in the afterlife, and my own research, Ash had an out-of-body and the beginning of a "crossing over" experience–which is the journey to the afterlife part of the process. This is a truly rare description of the blackness or void that some NDErs experience after they first get out of body and before they see the Light or have a tunnel-like experience. Ash never made it to the afterlife, but he gifts us with the knowledge that our personality, as well as our consciousness, survives death of the body.
My academic background is college degrees in chemistry, biology, and psychology and a doctorate degree in jurisprudence. I have been a scientific NDE researcher for 32 years, have reviewed thousands of NDE accounts, have categorized them by type and depth according to 43 elements, and have published my findings in my 6th book titled "33 Souls Who Met God–Accounts of Atheists, Buddhists, and Christians Who Died and Met the Same God." I am the only NDE researcher who has personally experienced everything I have written about NDEs. I died and returned 6 times. Three of those times were what I call "expanded afterlife experiences"–the deepest type of afterlife experience on record. Three were simply out-of-body experiences where I got out and wandered around the hospital where I was having surgery or was in the ER. I am not a know-it-all; I simply have a broader perspective than most because of my personal experiences, research, and the Knowings I received directly from Source while I was in the afterlife.

May I ask, in who do you rely on for your everyday needs?
I was born with many mental disorders and disabilities including medication resistant epilepsy, autism, and learning disabilities that all continued to corrupt my mind with numerous cognitive distortions centered around self judgment, self condemnation, and perfectionism. I've been in suicidal ideation for 8 months now ever since those distortions continued to build up depression to the point of suicidal ideation.
The only reason I am still standing is because my life is built on the foundation of saving faith in the gospel.
Faith is assurance of what we hope for. And with assurance that everything has a purpose and in the end we will be brought to new life without sin or suffering counters every thought to give up.
I have a good amount of confidence in what I can do and am happy with how God made me since every difficulty servesa good purpose, but my perfectionism continues to raise the bar in terms of satisfaction and self esteem. I often do everything to avoid pride and self admiration and treasure humility as the most valuable Christian characteristic.
However, I've come to realize that humility doesn’t aways mean to think less of yourself but alto think less about yourself and more about others. Its different for everyone, as there are some people like yourself who continue to forget about themselves, but for myself I think too much about myself, most often in a negative way.
There are boundaries that need to be put in place in all directions. We shouldn't think too little about ourselves or too little of ourselves, but the same is true of the opposite side of the spectrum which is pride.

This feels so much more genuine than many NDE narratives that seem to me to be trying to sell some ideas, to convince people of what the experiencer's beliefs have been are univesal. Beliefs are a result of our conditioning and this story is one of letting go of conditioning that led this man to live his life for others and not pay attention to his own needs. As he talks about helping other people I can see that he wants to help them find out for themselves what's right for them.
