Such a great interview…👌🌈Thank you all so much❤❤❤+
Thanks for your ongoing, enlightening and inspiring work, Jeff!
When I was very young and very sick one day and was feeling delirious I remember seeing this swirling thing in my head. I’m 72 now and have never forgotten this, but I’ve always had a hard time describing it. When Dr. Thomas mentioned the children describing a spiral, I think that was what I saw as well. But I think that for my whole life I always had a sense that I was so much more than this body. As a young child making snow angels late at night, I would stop and gaze up at the stars with awe and realize that I was actually part of all of this big beautiful universe. After all, I couldn’t escape it! 😊🎉❤
Thank you so much both of you ❤ God bless you ❤ Love and light ❤
⭐️
this guest is awesome!!!
you never fail to make the most thoughtful comments that help elaborate the story exactly as needed
Donna mentioned that many people’s NDE experiences start to come back with their own volition in their 40s. This is very true of my own NDE at the age of two.
We have higher selves helping and guiding us through this place, intuition and gifts of knowing/ mediumship. Our higher selves are wise and completely unaffected by anything that happens to this human part ❤️
Everything this lady says is correct
So since YouTube demonetized his channel now he has to have commercials interrupt the video?
I'm 63 now, but at age 11. My apedix popped, and my grandma waited 4 days to take me to the hospital. I popped out of my body during surgery, I watched the surgery. Then, into the dark void. So, it's true. I love your show Jeff.❤
Yes, aliens too after.
Too many ads!!! You are the best interviewer on here – Really like your videos but it seems almost more ads than content these days.
5:55 Jeff, I would suggest you phrase this stuff as a question. A woman who has had such a profound experience… I suggest it would be best to let her be the authority on what happened and why. Nothing wrong with asking, but stating… maybe adjust that in the future. Thank you for this.
Great guest! Very interesting.
Fantastic interview! Insightful questions from you, Jeff, and greatly enjoyed listening to Dr. Thomas.
Thank you Dr. Thomas for your work and for sharing your experience. Lots of Love from Germany, Robert
😅
This sounds so fake
THANK YOU, DR. THOMAS, FOR SHARING THESE AMAZING "N.D.E." STORIES! [FYI: I HAVE TO USE THE (ENGLISH) SUBTITLES, BECAUSE YOUR SPEECH IS SO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. ]
Thank you for having Dr. Donna Thomas on your program Jeff Mara. Thanks for sharing your out-of-body experience that you had as 15 years old Dr. Thomas. It's interesting that you were in a dark space and feeling like you were that space with an incredible feeling of love. You had a panoramic view of your life and felt the emotions of other people. You got out of the body before you were hurt. You felt like you were everything, being unified in everything. Thanks for sharing about a woman you knew that was getting assaulted but she was out of her body watching it without feeling it. At 5 years old you were run into by a motorcycle. He left the bike on top of you and ran away. Dr. Donna didn't feel the impact because she was up above. No injuries, just a little spot on her knee. After the second experience she had trouble integrating back into life, she was still in a state of bliss. Electric things can start breaking around her. After she was hit by the motorcycle had a lot of experiences too. For weeks after being hit by the motorcycle she was seeing things, going out-of-body floating around the house at night while her family was sleeping, and seeing tiny entities and then bigger ones and hearing things. A lot of that activity came back with the second car accident like knowing what people were thinking or definitely having premonitions, knowing things before they happen. You would have dreams where you'd be in unusual places. You had memories of lives lived before. You would dream about being in a different life. If you listen to someone and you see the emotion you say that's emotional validity. With the collective consciousness the "faeries" might be entities people saw in NDEs in the past or they can be brought about by the imagination that turns the "real" into these entities. I liked that conversation. Dr. Thomas things in this world we have a smaller self to live in this world but we are part of a bigger self. She wasn't clinically dead either time. Death is just changing self and going to a more complete self. There is no DEATH. The world is built on the premise that it's only material. It may be we are consciousness instead. Why do we come here and do this? You need others to experience other things. It's like a school. We can't know it all. Something is behind all this and you just have to have faith. Synchronicity comes into play. You can be looking for something and you drop a book and what you're looking for is on the page! It's an incredible phenomena that to Dr. Thomas is a real sign that there is something "higher" looking out for us. You think suffering is important here. It's awful but it always seem to be through suffering we learn so much. Suffering can open the door to us asking these questions like, "Who am I? Why am I here? What is reality made of? What happens when I die?" Suffering seems to do that to us. When everything is going well and we're really happy we don't think about those things. You went the opposite way from those experiences. You were pushing them away for a very long time. Your PHD was in identity and self and linguistics which is how language is used to create experience and reality. No mater how hard you pushed them away, by your 40s they came back of their own volition. You needed to be doing this work. You didn't feel that what's happening here is real since your second experience. Through synchronicities, you had your own business were you worked in local government. You went back into academia with a very small research post and you gave up your bigger jobs because you wanted to pursue this a bit more. You started with a very small study looking at children's unusual experiences or unexplained experiences and that's the umbrella term. It wasn't just NDEs, it was, "What's happening with children?" She is really curious about children and consciousness. You wanted to know, "Do children have lots of these kinds of experiences?" And if they do, "How are adults responding to them?, How is the world responding to them? What do we need to do? For you that was the starting position. Because of your background you have to be very careful to ensure you don't put your experiences and assumptions onto what children tell you in your own research. It's called reflexivity. It wasn't an intention to do this after experiences. It was a catalyst into it. You had to listen to that intuition and guidance that was behind everything. You began the NDE studies with children in 2022. You finished your pilot study near the end of 2023. It's hard to do this type of research in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. In 2 years you interviewed 7 children. You did multiple interviews with them. Initially you had 14 children but sadly some of those children passed away and some were too sick to take part in the study. You interviewed children about 2 weeks after they have had cardiac arrest and resuscitation. They have all died and been brought back. You interview them at the bedside and you use really creative research methods so that they can really try to explain what's happened to them. You have 3 questions; What happened before you fell asleep or unconscious? What happened when you woke up or became conscious? And what happened in the middle? You found that 4 out of 7 children reported unsolicited NDE because they reported the core features of NDEs. Things like moving through a tunnel towards a bright light, feeling that incredible unconditional love, no life reviews. That correlated with the findings of Dr. Melvin Morse in 1985. Children also report the loving darkness which is really interesting. The 4 children you interviewed moved in a spiral, they didn't call it a tunnel, towards a very beautiful loving white light. Prior to that they found themselves in a very dark space with no fear, they said it was full of love and they felt so safe. Your colleague that you do this research with, Dr. Graham O'Connor, you were discussing this and you said it sounds like a womb. One child had 3 cardiac arrests. He went through so much! He was having a double lung transplant. The outlook is not great. he had lots and lots of experiences. He reported he went through spirals towards the light, he felt like he was going home. That's unusual for children because children think of home as being here with their family. He found himself in some kind of city space that had columns. He felt really safe and loved. After coming around from his double lung transplant he described having a bedside visitor, a beautiful female and she told him he was going to recover, he would heal, and he'd live a really, really good life. He started to heal really well from the operation because he believed it. You're moving into the second part of this now where you'll be interviewing much more children, you think 30. You'll also be doing a perspective study. You'll be interviewing children at the bedside and then a year later when they're an outpatient to see if they still have those memories. You also want to see if they are transformed in anyway. You also do studies in the community too and not just in the hospital. You found that so many children have more than one of these unusual experiences. You think that these are a natural part of being a child. You think that children are really open to these experiences, connected into the wider realms of reality. No mater their circumstances they are reporting the same kind of experiences. The adults put the cultural layers on. You found an NDE within the community that was really striking. It was from a child that had had medical problems all their life. They were in a wheelchair and their mobility was really restricted. The child went into the hospital for a simple leg operation and she was laying in her hospital bed but she was moving all around her room and seeing things she couldn't see from her bed. She said she knew what it would feel like if she could walk. She had an out-of-body experience in the hospital room. Children are not exposed to stories of NDEs. You never mentioned dreaming. Some of the children don't remember but they draw spirals. They are very young children and don't have a lot of verbal capacities. They draw spirals like the older children do. They just can't verbalize their experiences well. Children seeing strange entities is one of the most highly reported experiences, especially in children younger than 10 years old. More in the reply below:
Someone in another video said that suffering opens the wound to let the light in. I love this! I have been suffering for decades which is what brings me to these NDE videos. They give me hope.
Marvellous interview, thank you
Very interesting interview. Donna seems very trustworthy. And very good questions by Jeff, as usual.
A few days ago, my 8 yr old son told me about an experience he had. He woke from a bad dream but immediately felt safe and peaceful. He looked to his left and saw a very tall man, he described “as tall as the room” (we have 9 foot ceilings). My sons words: “I knew we already knew other, for a very long time and I felt love from him.” “He wore a white robe that only covered one shoulder and his skin was brown but less like pop pop and more like Josh, except he was bald” (Josh is a family friend who is black, pop pop, is my stepdad, and is black, while me, my husband and my children are white.) my son went on to say: “the man showed me a picture of Jesus and there was a red heart around Jesus and I knew he wanted to remind me that Jesus is always in my heart but he didn’t say the words.” I was very careful to listen and not interject an interpretation of my own. This is my youngest son. I have 5 other children. Only one other of my 6 children has ever shared an experience that they insist was not a dream. My oldest son saw his great uncle, in the middle of the night. The uncle was from my husbands side, he had died decades before my son was born, back when my husband was a child. It was after my son saw a picture of the uncle that he told us that he’d seen him before, many times in the night, but he was not afraid. That took place over 20 years ago now, and I was not as open, I really just didn’t want him to be afraid of “ghosts” – which is how my son described it – that he’d seen a ghost. I have apologized to my older son several times as he’s gotten older and told him I trust and believe him, and his story has never changed. ✌️
I don’t like the idea of being some like Ai which is lonely and requires human input to seemingly experience life in order to learn like a novice.
I had nde when I was six from drowning in a pool. I was under water for about 4 minutes and remember being in a dark tunnel with light one end and a woman voice calling from the other. I woke up 4 days later. Strangest thing. I also have nightmares that feel like I'm a baby in Utero. But I'm drowning and all crush up but tumbling. Down tunnel the womb most bizarre
God will protect all of us.
It was crap but still better than Rogue Elements and All in Good Time
Very interesting and knowledgeable guest, thank you for sharing.
Wonderful interview. Truth is much stranger than fiction. I want Jesus to be there…I think we are all part of each other spiritually.
Fascinating interview. As a retired psychologist, I really enjoyed hearing about this topic being explored from a scientific standpoint. Our science needs to begin integrating the latest scientific and philosophical thinking, which transcends materialism and accepts the probability that consciousness is the primary ground of existence. Dr. Thomas is astute and a pleasure to listen to. Bravo!
❤🎉❤ Thank you
