What is an NDE?
A near-death experience (NDE) is typically a profound, life changing, intensely emotional experience that usually occurs during a clinical crisis and has common characteristics and aftereffects. It is not a dream, hallucination, or mental illness (Greyson, 1983). There are no predictive variables to identify who will have an NDE. They happen to people of all ages, religions, socio-economic groups, cultures, educational backgrounds, and belief systems. They occur under a variety of circumstances such as accidents, near-drownings, illnesses, combat, surgical procedures, and childbirth. Following an NDE, experiencers (NDErs) often display some common aftereffects. Research has established a set of common NDE characteristics and long-term aftereffects. Theories used to explain near-death experiences in purely physical terms have been proven inadequate by NDE researchers and others.

The police beat me up and i actually died on the medical bed when i was doing 10 years in prison. I could hear everyone talking about what theyre going to say on the report. But i was looking down at the whole thing and Jesus appeared to me too. I couldnt see his face either, just the outline and shadow.He pushed me back down to my body and i broke the straps on the medical bed. I changed my life that day and been following God ever since. Theres a big message i was given, and I definitely owe it to Him to express it everyday.
My mother reported a similar experience after suffering a Cardiac Arrest with CPR. She was gone roughly 20 minutes, brought back via CPR/Defibrillation/ACLS protocol. Some days after she regained consciousness and could articulate well, she went on and on about her experience. She reported this "Bright, beautiful light!". The very same, along with the feeling she had, how beautiful it all was and "Why did you bring me back?" This went on for a year or more, her coming at me with this experience and wanting be heard? To explain further? She was very stressed, stressed that i heard her and got it.
I died and went to Vulcan. The electricity was out

I had parents that were as loving as they were capable of, and I am totally grateful to them…….BUT, I was a flaming atheist from the age of eight until I was 19 (I am 70, now). That is because the religions that I knew were loveless. I was an incredibly troubled child because both of my parents and brothers had the authoritarian personality (disorder) but I just KNEW that we did not need any rules if we were filled with love and being obsessed with rules first, then we are free to love, kills love for someone like me, who truly cares about others as myself.
All parents have flaws. There are no perfect parents. None of us are cursed because of our parents' flaws. I could not articulate my faith in love to my authoritarian parents, but I know that refusing to submit to the rules that their fears drove them to, was a loving contribution that I made to THEIR lives. They HAD to soften in order to accomodate my heart.

My youngest son claims to be an athiest, and my wife and I love him dearly.
It was not the separate Western God. It was the non-separate Indian God (absolute Consciousness), Brahman. The speaker was a guide.
Westerners retain their ego even in the afterlife… God is not something separate from themselves. Listen to the many awakened ones of Non-duality.

I have heard people giving brain injuries usually from the fall and then they have with Doctor say is “acquired servant syndrome.” one case guy who had no Music you could sit down and play perfectly beautifully at the piano. Another case is this guy start doing these drawings and he didn’t know what they were but then someone saw them and told him that they were perfect representations of some mathematical formula in picture form.. I don’t remember exactly but it was way above anything technically considered coincidental
So I’ve listened to a lot of these a lot a lot. And I wonder can we do this people who want to have this realization??
I really like this interview. I’m leaving another comment. I have found that many people who don’t believe in God actually just don’t believe in organized religion or the God that they even taught to believe in.. I listen to Christopher Hitchins that’s a man who was definitely gonna stand against the sins of the church rightfully so. However, people mistake what God isn’t for what God is. Not that I know where God is, but I know God is not a hateful person. He’s gonna throw someone into hell forever and ever just because they don’t believe something.
Suffering is real…
If this is reality, why are we not taught about it? Are we meant to live in terror?
