One way that I see religions is as chalices: Containers, in their own particular way, of God's love, call that what you may. He expressed the essence of this chalice, Eckankar, in such a lovely and essential way: An approach to contact God's love, expressed as light and sound. The simple spiritual practices of this path help me to drink from this golden chalice, God's light and sound.
I really love how Sri Doug simplifies the concept of Eck for anyone to understand.
